I am a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Santa Rosa since 1986. I specialize in all aspects of facial cosmetic surgery, body contouring and breast enhancement. Breast augmentation, or augmentation mammaplasty, can enhance the size of your breasts as well as give you a better-proportioned figure. It is designed to increase the size of small breasts, correct breast assymetry, and improve the appearance of breasts that have lost their volume and shape due to weight loss, childbirth, or simply as a result of aging.

In additional to traditional augmentation procedures, Dr. Marcus also performs breast augmentation endoscopically through a belly-button approach, thereby avoiding any scar on the breast itself. This technique is referred to as Transumbilical Breast Augmentation (or TUBA) or "scarless" breast implant surgery. Most patients who have had this procedure report decreased recovery/down time, less post-operative wound care and less pain. Dr. Marcus is one of the few plastic surgeons trained in and performing this technique in Northern California and is pleased to offer it to his patients as an option.
