Breast Implants and Breast Augmentation Stories from our Visitors
If you have already read Nicole's Story
, you have a pretty good idea what this section of the website is all about. After several women emailed their breast augmentation stories to us, we thought it would be great to have women share their full-length recovery stories after their breast implant surgeries for everyone's benefit. Thankfully, many women have contributed, some in more detail than others.
Here are the stories of our visitors. Many names have been changed for privacy. Where appropriate, there is detail in parentheses so you can decide if you are interested. Click on a name to read.
My Breast Augmentation
Well I am 27 yrs old and lost a lot of breast tissue from nursing my babies which left me feeling really bad about myself. I wanted a breast augmentation for many years but wanted to wait until after I had all of my kiddos. We got my tubes tied and figured it couldn't be a better time. So we bit the bullet and had it done.
I am only 3 weeks into it- but I am loving it. It has already given me a better feeling about myself. I was very scared at first but went through with it. After surgery I was pretty doped up and don't remember much. The next few days were kinda rough as I had to have help from my hubby (going to the bathroom, getting dressed, taking meds and helping with my youngest child). I couldn't lift my arms for the first few days-had to keep them to my sides. Sleeping was a bit tricky but I found ways to get around it such as sleeping with tons of pillows or sleeping on the couch. I had little swelling and no bruising. The feeling was a very tight and engorged feeling (like nursing). It felt weird to bend over and hurt to lift my arms.
But I am 3 weeks out now and they are getting sooo soft already. I can do just about anything. I could not be happier with my choice. If you want a breast augmentation, please search for the right plastic surgeon and find out as much as you can--the more you know the better you will feel and when things happen you will be prepared for them. It's a big step but the outcome is well worth it. GOOD LUCK:)
