Breast Implants and Breast Augmentation Stories from our Visitors

If you have already read Nicole's Story, you have a pretty good idea what this section of the website is all about. After several women emailed their breast augmentation stories to us, we thought it would be great to have women share their full-length recovery stories after their breast implant surgeries for everyone's benefit. Thankfully, many women have contributed, some in more detail than others.

Here are the stories of our visitors. Many names have been changed for privacy. Where appropriate, there is detail in parentheses so you can decide if you are interested. Click on a name to read.

Breast Augmentation with Rapid Recovery

At 52 I felt it was time to make a change! I am working out every single day and yet I found that I could not beat the worst enemy of beauty: gravity. While the rest of my body is toned and fit, there wasn’t an exercise I could do to restore the firmness of my breasts so I decide to research into breast augmentation. I met with a couple of surgeons but I left their offices unsatisfied and discouraged. Their answers to my questions were vague so I didn’t feel very safe. I decided to do more research online and I came across Dr. Epstein’s website. I was impressed with all the information readily available to me and the promise of a quick recovery caught my attention. Although skeptical about promises of virtually no recovery period at all, I scheduled a consultation. I met with Dr. Epstein and his very capable staff and I immediately felt at ease. His unassuming manner and the detailed answers to my questions made feel very comfortable. I also had the opportunity while I was there to speak with one of his patients that came in for her two week follow up. She was very happy with her recovery and she looked fantastic! Dr Epstein did the Vectra imaging to show me what I could expect and I was amazed. I left the office very pleased but I still needed time to think it over. On my way home, I received a call from one of Dr Epstein’s patients who was willing to talk about her experience with breast augmentation. She is 62! She was thrilled with the results and the easy recovery and assured me that I would not regret it.

I scheduled my surgery a couple of weeks later. The surgery lasted about one hour. When I woke up my arms were sore from lying on the surgery table with my arms spread out. That’s it! No other pain or discomfort at all! Ten minutes later my arms were fine and when Dr Epstein asked me to raise them over my head I did it without even wincing! It was unbelievable. My boyfriend and I left the office and went to……THE MALL! Yes, I felt well enough to go to the mall and walk a bit and have lunch. Then went home to rest (take a nap as per doctor’s instructions), but I wasn’t sleepy. I rested for a while and then took a shower and went out to dinner. I didn’t use any painkillers at all. I was tired but that’s all I felt. I had my surgery on a Wednesday; I got a bouquet of flowers from Dr. Epstein on Thursday! and on Monday I was back to work! And I drove by myself! I kept using the ice packs just for comfort and because I was instructed to do so. I guess the toughest part was having to lay directly on my breasts for 15 minutes every day. It was uncomfortable at first but a week later it got easy.

I just had my 5 month pictures taken yesterday and my breasts look fantastic! I couldn’t be happier and I couldn’t thank Dr. Epstein enough for his excellent work
