If you have already read Nicole's Story, you have a pretty good idea what this section of the website is all about. After several women emailed their breast augmentation stories to us, we thought it would be great to have women share their full-length recovery stories after their breast implant surgeries for everyone's benefit. Thankfully, many women have contributed, some in more detail than others.

Tuberous Breasts. What Are They? What Do They Look Like?
I am 43 years old and have wanted to have breast implants since I was 16 years old. My breasts never developed correctly. It wasn't until I started meeting with plastic surgeons that I found I have Tubular Breasts. I was so happy to finally find out that there was a name for my condition. My breasts were deformed. I could never fit in bathing suit tops and bras. I was very embarrassed of how they looked.
After meeting 6 plastic surgeons, I found the one that I felt very comfortable with. She confirmed everything that I had read on the internet. I did do quite a bit of research. I was very nervous prior to my surgery but anxious at the same time. I decided on having the breast implants under the muscle and also decided on silicone over saline. My two requests to my surgeon were that I wanted a natural look and not too big. I advised her to use her judgement when deciding on which implant to put in.
My breast augmentation surgery was four hours long. I woke up in some pain and very groggy. I slept mostly the first day. The first three days were pretty tough. I needed help with everything from going to the bathroom, getting off the couch, etc. The fourth day I was able to move my arms a little bit.
I saw my plastic surgeon the day after my breast implant surgery. My breasts looked great the day after surgery already. I did not have any bruising. I just had swelling. I saw her again the next week and she advised me to be a couch potato for the next two weeks. I am not one to take pain medication but I have to say I went through two bottle of pain killers the first 2 weeks.
It is now three weeks since my surgery. I started driving a couple of days and it is very difficult. I am finally starting to feel better but I am still taking it easy so I do not have any complications. If I over do it with even walking, I can feel it. The recovery was tougher then I had expected. Not only did I have an augmentation but I also had complete reconstruction.
I am so happy with the results so far. The swelling has gone down. My breasts are still very hard and sore but I can see a difference from just a week ago. I am so happy with the decision I made to have breast implants and the plastic surgeon I chose perform breast augmentation. It has exceeded my expectations.
