If you have already read Nicole's Story, you have a pretty good idea what this section of the website is all about. After several women emailed their breast augmentation stories to us, we thought it would be great to have women share their full-length recovery stories after their breast implant surgeries for everyone's benefit. Thankfully, many women have contributed, some in more detail than others.
Here are the stories of our visitors. Many names have been changed for privacy. Where appropriate, there is detail in parentheses so you can decide if you are interested. Click on a name to read.
Breast Augmentation
My plastic surgeon was Dr. Douglas L. Forman
I had consulted with Dr. Forman 3 years ago and at that time I wasn't sure if I wanted to go forward with the procedure due to the reseach I had done. I was afraid of all the risks. But this past Spring (2010), I was ready to go forward with my procedure.
Dr. Forman and his staff answered all my questions/concerns. My biggest worry was waking up from the surgery because I tend to be really sick. Dr. Forman prescribed a patch to be worn the night before and I woke up from surgery without being sick. I was feeling so good that I was out that afternoon at the grocerie store...NOT SOMETHING you should be doing! The recovery was quick; I only took 4 days off and then I was back at work.
If you are considering plastic surgery, I would highly recommend consulting with Dr. Forman. You will have to pay a consultation fee, but it will be worth your money and time. He will not pressure into anything, but instead take his time to provide you with all the information you need to make your OWN decision.
