Breast Implants and Breast Augmentation Stories from our Visitors

If you have already read Nicole's Story, you have a pretty good idea what this section of the website is all about. After several women emailed their breast augmentation stories to us, we thought it would be great to have women share their full-length recovery stories after their breast implant surgeries for everyone's benefit. Thankfully, many women have contributed, some in more detail than others.

My plastic surgeon was Dr. Mark Epstein

I am a 31-year old mother of 5 young children. As you can imagine, after 5 pregnancies and breast feeding 3 of them, my breasts lost all fullness, firmness and looked like deflated balloons. I've always been extremely anti-breast implants because it created kind of a "porn star" image in my head. But then I had an experience where I went to Victoria's Secret and tried on 40 different bras for over an hour without finding one that fit right. I cried in that fitting room for 30 minutes and made my decision that day that I needed to find the perfect surgeon to fix my breasts.

After doing a lot of research and looking through hundreds of pictures I decided to go to Dr. Epstein. That man and his staff are angels from heaven and they changed my life!! As I said earlier, I have always had a certain perception of breast implants, but Dr. Epstein was so precise and thorough with his measurements and explanations that it really put me at ease. And his staff was so friendly and encouraging. Everything was absolutely refreshing! They made me feel like a real individual with real fears and concerns instead of just "another patient".

The recovery was amazing! I was able to touch my breasts and lift my arms over my head before I even left the office. Even took a shower when I got home. There was never any actual pain... I just felt sore, as though I had done about 100 push-ups. I even received a phone call a few hours post-op, the next day, and again later that week from Dr. Epstein himself to check in and answer any other questions or address concerns I might have! Oh!! And... he sent me a beautiful bouquet of get well flowers too! I am now 11 weeks post-op, and I couldn't be happier with the way I look and feel. And the BEST part about all of this is that my breasts look and feel so natural it's scary! I haven't told any of my family members about the augmentation yet but I have seen them several times since the surgery and they haven't even noticed. All in all, if you want a doctor and staff that are going to truly listen and actually deliver the results that you want, then go to Dr. Epstein. I strongly recommend him to everyone, every time (and so does my husband).
