Breast Implants and Breast Augmentation Stories from our Visitors

If you have already read Nicole's Story, you have a pretty good idea what this section of the website is all about. After several women emailed their breast augmentation stories to us, we thought it would be great to have women share their full-length recovery stories after their breast implant surgeries for everyone's benefit. Thankfully, many women have contributed, some in more detail than others.

Here are the stories of our visitors. Many names have been changed for privacy. Where appropriate, there is detail in parentheses so you can decide if you are interested. Click on a name to read.

Had Big Hips - Breast Augmentation Helped Proportion

I have always had an hour glass figure with hips and ass but never with breasts to complete the shape! I knew I always desired surgery but it took this long to get up the courage, make sure it was the right choice and be able to afford it. I could have had it done earlier, gone cheaper and so on but I absolutely recommend taking your time and going to the best surgeon you can afford. Top names aren't always any dearer than local inexperienced surgeons and they sure have experience which is what is needed for the best results.

I was told to visit at least 2 which I did but the moment I came across my preferred surgeon, he filled me full of confidence. So much so that I let him decide on what size implant I should have! I trusted him absolutely and booked him right away.

The operation and the immediate recover were straight forwards and without pain. I had stitches that would dissolve, no drain and no pain, except a sore throat! I stayed in for the night which I recommend because they fill you full of Antibiotics and can monitor you overnight while your body recovers from the anesthetic.

The worst thing I found was the side effects from drugs. Raging thrush from antibiotics and bloated/constipation from the pain killers that I took without really needing them. My tummy was in terrible discomfort, I put on 1/2 stone in 1 week and felt bloated, tired and found it difficult to breath.

I would absolutely say don't have this operation unless someone can be home with you at least for the first 3 days constantly, and ideally for the first week if possible. I did not feel able to perform the easiest of functions and had no energy at all for the first week. I couldn't use my arms to wash or dry my hair, bathing took an hour, dressing needed lots of help! This is where you could get depressed - cabin fever can set in. But on the 8th day I was reborn AND I could drive my car again and my arms were able to raise enough to wash my hair.

My breasts are high and hard. They said the 3rd day would be the most swollen and they were right. But now they are fine, not so swollen. My nipples are sensitive which can be uncomfortable under rubbing clothing. I've lashed on heaps of moisturizer to sooth taught skin. And I've been told to wear a sports bra night and day for 6 weeks and sleep sat up! I've got used to both and found my own way - I take my bra off for couple fo hours in the evening and sit still and now i sleep at 40 degs, not 90! I cheated last night and went out without the military style sports bra and it appears to have done me no damage at all - it felt amazing, at 38 I am finally in proportion and clothes hang perfectly! Almost all my clothes fit, all except my bras of course but all my frocks fit!

It kills your love life!!! My partner and I are usually very touchy but that's impossible when cuddling is out of the question and you feel like a tender beached whale and you have thrush!! But its only a week and on this day, 24th December, not only is it Xmas Eve, but it is my birthday today and this morning we woke cuddling (me laid on my side) and I was in no discomfort at all. Oh and 'he' adores my new tits - we call them 'the girls'!!

I hope I can add more to this as time goes by - I am dying to report on my 2 and 3 and then 8 month shape. But already I can tell you I cannot recommend this procedure highly enough WITH THE RIGHT HOSPITAL AND THE RIGHT SURGEON. Don't let worried family put you off - if you do ever elect to have surgery, you can be sure you will have thought long and hard about doing so before hand. It has been nothing but a positive experience for me and coupled with the recent laser eye surgery I have had (again recommended) I feel top of the world.
