Breast Implants and Breast Augmentation Stories from our Visitors

If you have already read Nicole's Story, you have a pretty good idea what this section of the website is all about. After several women emailed their breast augmentation stories to us, we thought it would be great to have women share their full-length recovery stories after their breast implant surgeries for everyone's benefit. Thankfully, many women have contributed, some in more detail than others.

Here are the stories of our visitors. Many names have been changed for privacy. Where appropriate, there is detail in parentheses so you can decide if you are interested. Click on a name to read.

Silicone Implants and Easy Recovery

I am now about to turn 27 - 5'4 and 110 pounds. No kids.
Had saline implants put in at age 20 by a doctor I would never recommend! He talked me in to much bigger than I was looking for and way too big for my frame. They were filled to 450 cc's. The pain after the surgery was INSANE and my doctor was not nice or compassionate at all!

So after a year and a half of hating them and feeling and seeing ripples I had them removed. I would rather have my small size AA real breasts than the huge fake size DD breasts I was talked into. I wasn't totally happy with the huge scars left, but was happy for 5 years without any implants.

I got divorced at age 25 and started dating again and my boyfriend was like- "why haven't you gotten them redone!" He was totally happy with me but knew I really wasn't and said if I already had the scars why not. I had thought about it, but together we researched- this time I was going to go to someone GOOD.

So he heard of someone and we both felt really good about him. I researched for 6 months and waited and we went for a consult this past month. I also researched Silicone feeling it was a better option since I'm so small. They feel natural already and look incredible.

My doctor had over 20 years experience and is located in a hospital with an onsite certified surgical center. He was very friendly and comfortable and thought silicone would be best. Explained everything in detail including how he guaranteed his work and for any mistake on his part no charge- not even anesthesia. He's awesome. So I set my surgery date for 2 weeks out and prepared. I was scared because my first surgery was horrible with lots of hematoma and pain for weeks and weeks.

Well, the second one was much better! I woke up and the nurse asked me how I felt. I raised both arms over my head easily and said great! My wonderful hero boyfriend lifted me into his truck and took me home- gave me drugs for two days while I slept. I never had any pain at all. I finally felt like I didn't even need the drugs- stopped them and slept on my stomach after 3 days. No pain at all-my boyfriends enjoying them and so am I!

I went with 330 cc's. Actually I told the doctor what I wanted and he said no bigger than 300 Inamed moderate plus profile for my smaller frame. when he sat me up during surgery he felt it didn't look quite right. So he upped it to 330 cc's and it's perfect!

I'm SO grateful for my doctor and his bedside manner and expertise! It's been a week and a half. I went back to work after 4 days easily and am healing great. Got my stitches out (he used the same crease scar) and LOVE my implants. So it's a happy ending!!
