I just wanted to take a minute to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for creating the site! You will never know just how much the information has helped me. I have wanted BA for most of my life. I was the "tomboy" who was flat-chested and stayed that way.

At 43, we are now "empty nesters" and my husband told me that if I wanted to do it, it was time for me to do something for myself. We have the money together and I'm planning on having them done in January. There is a part of me that still cannot believe that I am doing it, because of the way that I was raised. I shared my plans with my 79 yr. old mother the other day and was shocked when she said that if was something that was going to make me feel better about myself, that she fully supported me. You'd have to know my mother to know just how shocked I was.

But, in saying all of the above, I just wanted you and your husband to know that you have made a positive impact on women like me who have questions and need answer. Since I didn't personally know anyone who had been through it and living in a more rural area, your site has been a lifesaver for me. Again, thank you for all that you have done and the effort that you have put forth to be a beacon for the rest of us.

Actually, I was reintroduced to Dr. Aldea from your website. Five years ago my 4 year old son fell and split his forehead open between the eyes. I took him to the emergency room and the ER Dr. told me he would need 4 to 5 stitches. He said he could do it or we could wait for a plastic surgeon to do it. Because of the location of the cut, we were worried about a scar showing and decided to wait for the plastic surgeon. Dr Aldea was the plastic surgeon on call. He put 30 stitches in the cut and our son has absolutely no scare at all. When I decided to get implants I researched everywhere. I saw Dr. Aldea's name and picture on the ImplantInfo.com website and remembered him. Because of the fantastic job he did for my son, I made an appointment for a consultation and went to see him. From the very first meeting I was extremely impressed.

He made me feel totally at ease. His assistant, Mary Catherine was fantastic too. She met with us every time and is a beautiful lady and she shared her experience with me. I schedule a follow up appointment with my husband in attendance and Dr. Aldea answered all of our questions and concerns. Dr. Aldea and Mary Catherine helped me decide on the perfect size. During my consultations, surgery and follow up visits, everything went exactly as Dr. Aldea said it would. I love the way I look and couldn't be more pleased. The scariest part of having the surgery is making sure you have a great plastic surgeon. Dr. Aldea did everything perfect and I couldn't be more pleased. He also has a great team with Mary Catherine making sure you are comfortable and relaxed at each visit. Carol who works at the front desk treated me with kindness and respect each and every visit. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for the surgery. Everything happened just as he told me it would.

From the consultation to the post op visits Dr. Schaffer and his staff made me feel so comfortable and assured me that I was doing the right thing with having breast augmentation surgery. Dr. Schaffer and his staff are very professional and at the same time like family, you feel comfortable going in there expressing your desires, concerns, and sometimes silly questions. Dr. Schaffer is a large source of wisdom in this field and knew what he was talking about and made me feel like my body was in the right persons hands. Dr. James Hoffman is an amazing plastic surgeon. His work and artistic talent are impeccable and I would highly recommend him to any woman!!! I had a breast augmentation by Dr. James Hoffman on April 4th 2007 (400cc silicone, unders, crease incision). After going on a number of consultations with many of the "top" plastic surgeons in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area, I just knew Dr. Hoffman was who I wanted to do the surgery. He and his nurse Barb spent about an hour and a half in my initial consultation providing excellent information about the procedure, placement, saline vs. silicone, latest research, etc. I felt so comfortable and they really listened to what I had to say. After my consult I called back with a number of questions I had forgotten and I was promptly called back.

My surgery went very well and I felt like myself within a few days. I had little to no bruising and I was able to move my arms without any problems as soon as surgery was over. I was back in the operating room doing anesthesia in just over a week! I am only 2 weeks postop but my results are already truly amazing. They are exactly what I wanted and they have already dropped and softened quite a bit. I think Dr. Hoffman's techniques have EVERYTHING to do with my speedy recovery and the wonderful results. I do anesthesia and am in the operating room everyday. I can honestly say I think Dr. Hoffman is one of the most gifted surgeons I have ever seen. He and his office staff are so patience and kind. I first contacted Dr. Colgrove by calling the office after researching area doctors for 6 months prior to my surgery. Dr. Colgrove and his wonderful nurses were more then I could have imagined. 1 nurse was beside me from beginning to end. My recovery was so easy and smooth. No bruising and the scars are so thin and small you could never see them. I have been extremely pleased with the caring staff and Dr. Colgrove. I cannot begin to tell you what a help you were to me in making the choice that was right for me. I called and emailed several doctors before deciding on Dr. Roberts. I am a mother of two and was very upset with my body after the pregnancy's. I managed to get back down to my pre-baby weight of 130 lbs. But my breast were never going to be the same without some help! I had breast augmentation on June 27th.  I went from a small A to a perfect C. They are soft and feel like real ones (says my husband!). He did a wonderful job. His staff was so sweet. They called me on a regular basis before and after my surgery. While in the surgical room, my nerves were getting the best of me! But the women held my hand and talked to me about their experiences in the very same room where Dr. Roberts had given all of them breast augmentation as well! Recovery was harder than I had anticipated. I went under the muscle with 450 cc.

I was blessed to have a wonderful support system. I had help with my two children and was able to just rest and focus on getting better. I am in love with my new figure and love to shop for clothes I was never able to wear before. My biggest fear in getting the surgery was getting a terrible doctor. But thanks to Nicole, I was able to research the doctors and really get to know them before making a choice. Having plastic surgery is a big deal and should not be rushed into. Nicole has done such a wonderful job researching all of the doctors. And of course when I got to the doctors office for the first visit, I proudly told them how I was able to locate Dr. Roberts. His staff is very friendly and caring, and treat you like family when you walk through the door.   I came across your website about 3 years ago, and was constantly was reading all the Q & A about breast augmentation, looking at all the photos, reading all the personal stories, which helped answer all my questions and calm my nerves.

I just wanted to give you feedback on Dr. Shamoun in Newport Beach, CA.  I want to be a good influence to those ladies who are in the process of searching themselves.

My three consults were scheduled before I found your site, none with Dr. Shamoun. But after finding his page and the patient feedback on your site, I made a fourth appointment. The chips all fell into place. There was a cancellation the week I called and I was in there within 3 days. His actually ended up being the first appointment and no one else measured up to him. I never made it to the fourth consult because my surgery was scheduled by then.

Dr. Shamoun was honest, confident and down to earth. He listened to what I wanted and made it happen. He listened to my husband and answered his questions. I found it hard to believe that he was quoting faster recovery times and better results than the other surgeons. In the end, he was absolutely right about everything. His attention to detail is fantastic.

My surgery and recovery were a breeze! My results are even better. They are EXACTLY what I wanted. Size, shape, feel, scars...everything. I couldn't be happier. Dr. Shamoun is a highly skilled surgeon/artist who does beautiful work. I love his attitude about plastic surgery. Everyone that is considering some sort of a procedure needs to schedule some time with Dr. Shamoun. He is well worth it.
