Information Collection
ImplantInfo/CompuMedical is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We may collect information from our users at several different points on our Web site, including our voluntary mailing list, discussion boards or surveys.
Information Use
This website is a resource for patients seeking information about breast implants and breast surgery. Through surveys, polls and other interaction with our users, we hope to improve the quality of publicly available information, care given by plastic surgeons and medical professionals as well as the quality of all products used in breast augmentation and other surgery. Information (other than contact information) provided by users may, therefore, be shared with plastic surgeons, medical professionals, plastic surgery and other medical societies and manufacturers of breast implants and other breast surgery products. However, we will not share your email address or other contact information with any of the foregoing persons or entities or any third party. We may contact users again in order to obtain or provide additional information, make available to users information, products or services related to breast surgery.
Communications from the Site
We send all members who join our mailing list a welcoming email to verify the user has opted in to our mailing list. Users may choose to opt in or not at this point. Users who opt in for the mailing list will receive information on surveys being conducted by us, results of surveys conducted by us, products, services, special offers related to breast surgery, periodic newsletters relating to breast surgery and updates to the website. Out of respect for the privacy of our users, we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Any communication resulting from this list will be sent by ImplantInfo/CompuMedical. Your address will not be given or sold to any third party.
Each time we use our mailing list to communicate with you, we will include instructions for opting out of any future mailings. You may also opt-out of our mailing list at any time by choosing the unsubscribe option on our mailing list page. Choice/Opt-Out

Cookies

We use cookies to enable personalization - specifically to allow our discussion areas to calculate which" messages are "new" to a user, prepopulate the user's information to make posting more efficient. etc. Those message board cookies are not shared with anyone and the site doe not use them except as a user convenience. We take reasonable precautions to protect logged cookie data by keeping it in directories not accessible to the public.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze site usage trends, administer the site, track users' movement, and to track abuse of any area of the site. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
