Dear Dr. Vasisht:

I would like to take a brief moment to say thanks for all that you have done with regard to the treatment of my injury

Although an unfortunate accident, I feel very lucky that you were on call in the emergency room at the hospital. Without your intervention I most likely would have lost part of my finger. You assured me that you would do everything in your power to preserve it and you followed through with your promise.

What I immediately recognized is that you took a sincere concern in my situation and that you were genuinely interested in making sure that I was comfortable during the procedure. You made sure that each step was performed correctly and thoroughly while explaining everything to me during the process. All of this put me at ease which, given the situation, was much appreciated.

The healing process has occurred exactly as you explained and I am indeed happy with the results. To everyone that has asked about my injury I respond how fortunate I was to have met you. In fact, I have already given your phone # out to a few individuals. Involved as I am in the healthcare field its reassuring to know there are still physicians out there who put the patient first and do all they can to make sure the patient is not only comfortable but that they are providing the best possible care and treatment possible.

Anyway, thank you again for all that you did and my best wishes go out to you and South Shore Plastic Surgery.
