Philosophy

Dr. Sexton takes great pride his work and patient satisfaction. If he has a patient that is unhappy for any reason it bothers him, and he will do anything within reason to make that patient happy. He likes to think of his patients as part of his family, and tries to keep in touch with them over the years. By keeping up with them he can help them if they need it, or some patients may be able to help him if they have an area of expertise he is in need of. He wants his patients satisfied and happy, so they will stay in touch, in case they need him, or he needs them. Like friends do.

About Dr. Sexton

Education

• B.S.: Eastern Kentucky University
• M.D.: University of Kentucky College of Medicine
• General Surgery Residency: University of South Carolina
• Plastic Surgery Residency: University of Kentucky

After completing his surgical training Dr. Sexton moved to Columbia, S.C. where his wife was raised. He started his practice here in 1990, and he has been here since then.

Currently he is in solo private practice, and the majority of his practice is breast surgery and body contouring.  He also does facial rejuvenation operations, such as facelifts, eyelid surgery, laser resurfacing, and lip enhancement.
