I am a 25 year old engaged woman. May will be my two year post op anniversary for having breast augmentation. For a couple of months I had been debating over whether or not to have breast implants, at which time I was given an excellent referral by a nurse who herself had breast augmentation. She told me of a doctor that works closely with her and how she had always heard wonderful things about his work. I decided to go for a consultation at which time I saw pictures of his previous work and thought his work was excellent. These pictures as proof of what the work he has done combined with his personality made me feel that he was the doctor for me. With this being one of the biggest decisions in my life I had planned on going to additional consultations, however he was so wonderful that I looked no further. I had surgery on a Monday morning with Dr. Ronald Schuster in Owings Mills, Maryland. At my pre-op appointment when I met with Dr. Schuster he prescribed me an anxiety medication to help me ease my nerves which on the morning of my surgery helped tremendously. Along with the medication I was given a betadine scrub which I scrubbed my body with the night before. The morning of surgery I went to the surge center and waited impatiently, I was so excited and could not believe the day was finally here. Right before surgery I met with the anesthesiologist and he asked me if I had any questions and explained to me how I would be feeling as far as being nauseated. I was wheeled into the operation room and Dr. Schuster talked with me before I received general anesthesia. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease.

I had 345 cc smooth round implants placed under the muscle through a small incision made just under the breast.When I woke up I felt a lot better then I thought I would. The nurse told me she told my Mom the surgery was over and she would meet me in the recovery room. She also explained to me everything went great and how I would be feeling throughout the day.

On my way home I wore the bandage wrap around my breast and went right to bed. I had pillows propped everywhere and slept for most of the day. I remember when I first looked at my breast I did not think they were as big as I had wanted-now looking back I am so happy with the results and love my breast. I was a small A before the surgery and a full C after the surgery. Dr. Schuster did a wonderful job on my implants! I wanted them to look natural and in proportion with the rest of my body. My measurements were 32, 28, 39 before the surgery and I felt very self conscious about my little breast.

I get so many complements everyday on my body the people who do know about my implants think they look so natural and one of the best jobs they have seen. I am so pleased with the results and could not be happier. Everything was healing well...did I mention no bruising at all and the smallest scars imaginable. I followed his every direction as far as recovery and post op instructions. The scars are so tiny that I am not the least worried about someone else seeing them in my bikini or naked for that matter.

The recovery went well and I was feeling like myself in a week. When I went back to Dr. Schuster for my post op appointment I told him how pleased I was and he couldn't have done a better job. I have already referred many other people and will continue to do so. Dr. Schuster has since changed the way I feel about myself and I will never have any regret on not getting another doctors opinion. I would highly recommend if you live in Maryland to have a consult with him first, you will be 100% satisfied with Dr. Schuster and his work.
