I found my plastic surgeon on ImplantInfo by Nicole and called the office from the doctor's implantinfo page!

After many years of wanting breast implants, months and months of research, and a couple of consultations that I just didn't feel comfortable with, I finally happened upon ImplantInfo.com and found Dr. Schaffer's office. I was very impressed with the pictures of his work and ultimately that is what made me call his office for a consultation.

The staff at his office is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with them immediately. Going into the consultation I had a very clear and precise idea of what I wanted and the look I was trying to achieve. Dr. Schaffer and I were exactly on the same page as to what I wanted, what would be best for me, and what he could realistically achieve. I knew during the consultation that it would be my last one and that he was the right surgeon for me. I was given a choice as to where I would prefer to have my procedure done - either at the Surgery Center he is affiliated with or at Morton Plant/Bardmoor Outpatient center - and I chose the Surgery Center and am very glad I did.

The staff was very friendly, professional, efficient and caring. It has been close to 2 months since my surgery and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Every day they just look better and better and I could not be more pleased or happier with the results. I started with barely a B cup and am now a full D cup! I feel so much more confident with my breast size and think they look spectacular! Dr. Schaffer and his assistant Jaime did an amazing job and I cannot thank them enough.

I have to say that I am so pleased with the results of my surgery. Dr. Schaffer was knowledgeable and knew what was going to work best for my body. I am so happy with the way he balanced out some of the symmetric issues with both breasts and gave me enough information to make an educated decision on what would help make them become balanced. The rapid recovery also was amazing. I just followed what the staff recommended and I was up and around by that afternoon of my surgery!!! The staff was wonderful and already I have friends that are looking forward to their own consult. Thanks again Dr. Schaffer and staff!

Dr. Schaffer not only did my breast augmentation but he also provided me with a chin implant to improve my profile. Like you, I also did a significant amount of research on breast augmentation prior to having the procedure. I contacted approximately 7 different offices. It wasn't until I called Dr. Christopher Schaffer's office who was the last of those contacted and spoke with his amazing staff that I finally felt a sense of assurance, hence my decision to go with his practice.

When I learned that Dr. Schaffer had just recently completed an understudy with a top plastic surgeon in Texas whom I believe specializes in pain and recovery management, knowing that he's already received his degrees and certificates to practice, yet still was taking the time and initiative to improve and broaden his knowledge to better serve his patients, that was my first inclination that this was the office for me. It was after this study that Dr. Schaffer's office implemented the "Recipe for Recovery", which is my main reason for writing this email.

Too often today, with the many different variances of surgical and non-surgical procedures in which require pain medication and treatment, I personally feel people in general rely too highly on the stronger narcotic drugs that we all know can be addicting and worse yet, deadly if used abusively. The "Recipe for Recovery" which specifically calls for the use of 800mg Ibuprofen for pain, not only reduces the risk of drug addictions, I honestly do not believe that I would have been up within 24 hours of my surgery, carrying on with my normal everyday routines, had I not participated in this program. I believe the use of the stronger narcotic drugs slows down the recovery process and it really all boils down to mind over matter. I believe this is the type of revolutionary program that should be implemented in all applicable practices and should replace the use of the stronger, more harmful narcotic drugs.

Not only did I achieve a speedy and mostly pain free recovery, I also obtained the gift of satisfaction and fulfillment from my breast augmentation experience and I could not have asked for a better outcome and I owe that all to Dr. Christopher Schaffer and his staff.

From the consultation to the post op visits Dr. Schaffer and his staff made me feel so comfortable and assured me that I was doing the right thing with having breast augmentation surgery. Dr. Schaffer and his staff are very professional and at the same time like family, you feel comfortable going in there expressing your desires, concerns, and sometimes silly questions. Dr. Schaffer is a large source of wisdom in this field and knew what he was talking about and made me feel like my body was in the right persons hands. Hi, my name is Olesya and I was a breast implant patient of Dr. Schaffer's on April 3rd. Recently moving to the United States from Russia I was not sure whom I wanted to perform this surgery. My Mother gave me Dr Schaffer's name, he had done some cosmetic surgery for her. Dr Schaffer is a very informative caring doctor. Dr Schaffer is very concerned with your comfort, safety and satisfaction. Dr Schaffer's staff is great too, they make you feel very comfortable while you are there, you don't feel like your being judged, you feel welcome. I had had saline implants done 5 years earlier and I hated them, they felt awful. When one of the implants broke I went to Dr Schaffer and he gave me great info and insight into the silicone implants. I had my breasts originally augmented in 1989. I had silicone implants and was concerned about their integrity. I wanted to have them redone with silicone and I only found a few doctors in my area that were participating in the silicone study. I was extremely comfortable with Dr. Schaffer and his great staff immediately. I knew right away that he was going to be my surgeon. He replaced my implants in 2004. The surgery went perfectly and the after care was tremendous. I developed a fever about 1 week post-op. I contacted Dr. Schaffer's office on a Thursday evening. They monitored the situation closely. That Saturday, my fever spiked to 104 degrees. I paged Dr. Schaffer and he opened his office at 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday night to do a thorough examination on me! It was determined that I had contracted a bacterial infection that was unrelated to my surgery. He treated me and by Sunday morning, my fever had broken. I cannot say enough great things about the treatment I received and the great team at The Aesthetic Institute of West Florida. They made this a wonderful experience and I recommend Dr. Schaffer highly! Thank you!
