I found Dr. Maggi on ImplantInfo by Nicole!  Dr. Maggi is compassionate and was very honest with me. He is so knowledgeable and so far I have had no problems from the surgery. I was leery when his staff said I could go back to work in just a few days as long as I did not have a strenuous job (I am a counselor). True enough, I only took Friday and Monday off! I was in Wal-Mart the day after surgery, a little nausea but needed to move around, the second day; Home Depot and the mall (quick trips), third day; we took the kids to The Trail of Lights (about a mile 1/2 walk, fourth day; back to work (4 p.m.)!

Dr. Maggi is good at what he does and my breasts look really good and are only getting better! I have some bruising but I bruise badly anyway so I expected it. He seemed surprised about the bruising which shows me this is not a normal occurrence for him. The RN (Kelly) was wonderful, she called and checked on me all weekend and even offered to come by my house if I needed her to! Dr. Maggi and the ladies that work with him are wonderful people. The anesthesiologist was also a very kind and compassionate gentleman. Dr. Maggi owns his own Surgery Center and has a wonderful team working with him. I researched and went on seven consultations and I am very pleased with my choice. Everything Dr. Maggi told me made sense and was easy to understand. He knows how to answer your questions and talk to his patients. I HIGHLY recommend him.  Dawn

After you referred us to the doctors at Scottish Rite, and the consultation there, it is apparent to me what a magnificent job you did. "Dr. Maggi replaced the implants that I'd had done 11 years before. I reduced the size from 450cc to 250cc. The Reconstruction with this type of surgery was very complicated. My left breast fold had completely collapsed. Not only was he able to create new smaller pockets for the implants, but he fixed the fold and placed them into an even more natural shape than my first time around. I could not be more happy. He was very professional and sincere. It's his attention to detail and strive for perfection that makes him different. Thanks a million times over. PS. I went for a consult with Dr. Sergio Maggi in Austin TX. He was so awesome. He recommended doing the nose first. Since I just had a baby I still have some of that weight to lose so he agreed waiting on the neck/chin.. he believes in doing a little at a time to take care not to overdo it and end up with an unnatural look. I am 1 day post op and I am thrilled. No bruising.. no pain. He asked about pain level 1-10 today.. I said I guess 1. His staff is the BEST! That really makes a great experience. They were so nice and patient. Great bed side manor. (gotta send them a thank you basket!) The nurses told me he is a perfectionist and took some extra time with me looking at my nose at every angle before he was satisfied. So I highly recommend him to anyone in the Austin area. By the way - the pictures I gave him of the nose I liked.. it already looks like it.. even tho there is swelling of course... I can see beyond the swelling I guess. I am taking pinneapple bromelain 500 mg (they supply this), sinecch for bruising and swelling ( I have NO bruising.. yet) and the pain meds/antibiotics. ....so excited!!!" -RB.
