Philosophy

I like a "natural" look. My breast augmentation patients have breasts that look natural. My facelift patients look "refreshed" and younger, but still look like themselves, without that "pulled" artificial look. Take your time.

The decision to pursue plastic surgery is a personal one. When done appropriately, it is a positive life experience. My goal is to meet with you, evaluate what areas concern you, and discuss the possibilities. To achieve results, I'll bring my skills as a Board certified and Stanford trained plastic surgeon, my compassion, and my experience; you'll bring your desire to maximize and sustain the results we reach together.

I believe you must feel comfortable and open with your surgeon. My greatest satisfaction as a doctor, and as a woman, comes afterwards - when we appreciate the results achieved, whether it be enhancing what you have or reconstructing an area back to normal.

About Dr. Greenberg

Education

Lauren Greenberg is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Palo Alto, California. She earned her medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. Following her degree program, she did her General Surgery and Plastic Surgical Training at Stanford University, in Palo Alto, California.

She then did additional training in Breast Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery in a fellowship with Drs. Pat Maxwell, Jack Fisher, and Mary Gingrass in Nashville, Tennessee. She has presented at the California Society meeting on free flap microsurgical tissue reconstruction, as well as Breast Reconstruction using the TRAM flap following chest irradiation.

She has also presented at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons on breast reconstruction. Publications include a chapter on "Revising the unsatisfactory breast reconstruction," and chapters in the McCarthy Textbook of Plastic Surgery on "Breast augmentation" and "Body liposuction."

In order to donate her skills to those in need, Dr. Greenberg has traveled to several third world countries to dedicate her services for cleft lip and palate surgery. This was done through Hospital de la Familia in Guatemala, and Interplast in Honduras and Brazil.
