Dr. Delgado has been in plastic surgery practice since 1988 and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery - the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify plastic surgeons. Dr. Delgado graduated magna cum laude from the City College of New York. While participating in medical programs at Cornell and Harvard Universities, Dr. Delgado was awarded the prestigious Jonas Salk Award for his outstanding contribution to medical research. Dr. Delgado received his medical degree, with honors, from the University of California at San Francisco. He did his internship and general surgery training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and his plastic surgery fellowship at Stony Brook Medical Center in New York. In addition, he is a member of many medical societies including: the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the California Plastic Surgery Society, and the American College of Surgeons.
