This is a 21 year old female from the Los Angeles, California area who came to my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical office with interest in a breast augmentation. This patient is a model, who has appeared in national fashion magazines, and she wanted to be larger but maintain a very natural look. Her goal was to go from a B cup to a C cup.
Natural appearing breasts after an augmentation is a priority with all of my patients, and to accomplish this, I recommended a saline breast augmentation with a moderate sized implant, placed under the pectoralis (chest) muscles through a periareolar (under the areola)incision. My goal was to provide a more aesthetic roundness and fullness to the breasts while maintaining a natural look.
This patient underwent a breast augmentation with a periareolar incision and a submuscular (under the pec muscle) placement of the implants. I used smooth, round moderate profile Mentor implants filled to 300cc on each side. The patient recovered very quickly and was very happy with her results. She has been photographed for national ad campaigns since her surgery, and has been complimented specifically on the natural appearance of her breasts.
