Dr. Churukian is the most amazing physician I have ever come into contact with. (And believe me, working at a hospital, I have something to compare it to!) I had my surgery at 19 years old and was truly the most attentive doctor I have ever met. On my first visit he made sure that I had ALL my questions answered, and when it came time to try on the "test implants" he helped me to understand what would look too big, or too little... he helped me make the decision instead of just letting me decide something I was completely in the dark about.

On the day of my surgery I was so incredibly scared as it was my first EVER surgery. He held my hand and told me he would take care of me and he wouldn't let anything bad happen to me... He then counted backwards with me right before I went under... He is SUCH a caring doctor!! Because of him, I went into the O.R. unafraid... not many doctors would take the time out to do that for their patients!!!

I had breast augmentation on Jan 5th and find my surgeon with the help of your web page and I have to say that Dr. Churukian is just wonderful. From the first appointment I knew that I had find the right surgeon for me. He made feel like he really cared about me that I wasn't just a number.

I had heard that breast augmentation was very painful and that I would be laid up in bed for at least 2 - 3 weeks -- with three children under the age of 8 and a husband who travels alot this wasn't something that would go over well. So when he told me that I would be up about the very same day I didn't really believe him but I followed his instuctions to the letter and did the exercises --although at the start they really did hurt the pain soon went away. All the staff in his office are just wonderful and know matter how many questions you have they are always pleasant and helpful.

I have used one of the surgeons I found on your site. I highly recommend Dr. Kirk Churukian and his staff. They are wonderful!!! From the first time I called to make an appointment for a consultation, I knew this was a first class office. After meeting Dr. Churukian & his staff I knew I didn't need to look any further...... I had found the right surgeon. He and his staff answered all of my questions and concerns. My surgery went wonderful and my recovery was EASY!!! The recipe for rapid recovery is awesome. I followed Dr. Churukian instructions to the letter. I did my arm exercises every hour on the hour. I was up and taking a shower 8 hours after surgery. After that I unloaded the dishwasher and went to bed. The next couple of days got easier and easier. Day 3 was Easter Sunday, had a wonderful day with my family. Monday I drove 45 min. for my follow up appointment and then drove 45 min. back to work. Yes, I was back to work by day 5!!! I would like to add one more very important thing. The wonderful care I received didn't stop after my surgery was over. Anytime I have called the office with a question they have been great. I'm 3 months post-op and very, very happy with my whole experience. I wouldn't change a thing!!!!!!!!!!!!

After interviewing 3 Plastic Surgeons and bolting out of the hospital minutes before surgery with another plastic surgeon I found Dr. Churukian on your website. I had wanted larger breasts for 4 years but was afraid to have implants. I tried the BRAVA for almost 2 years and that proved a waste of 2 grand. Finally, surgery seemed my only solution if I truly couldn't deal with my now flat chest after nursing 2 boys. I started interviewing plastic surgeons and opted for one close to home that a friend had used. I went through the whole process, consult, follow-up, blood work, scheduled date. I would call with questions and I was put off by nurses telling me 'just trust your doctor.
My questions and concerns were not answered. I had no choice of what kind of implant as she only used one kind. She made everyone about the same size (no trying on sizes or really discussing it) I knew I was to were pumps and would be laid up for about a week, maybe 2 they said. I was left still scared but went to my surgery date and just minutes before my instincts told me to run. I rescheduled because I really wanted larger breast, however that morning I called in sick. I was done with them as they were done with me. Yet, I still knew I wanted to do it, I was in a horrible state. I was so mad at myself.

I decided to look for a new PS and see what would happen. That is when I found Dr Kirk Churukian as a new member on your website. I called the office and they were wonderful. I explained my story and told them I only have one week off work. They made a consultation date but also set up a surgery date on the first day of my vacation. (just in case) I went to my consult and met everyone. They were all so wonderful. I was then brought into the room to meet the doctor who was briefed on my experience. He asked what were the things that stopped me from going through with the surgery. I told him. He went step by step over every issue I had. I felt so relieved. He answered all my questions and put perspective on my concerns. Diane who runs the show in the office is so knowledgeable on breast augmentations, she also gave me information on places to look for support and information. She even told me she would meet me at the surgery center. So I said "ok lets give this another go" On the day of surgery I was afraid again but Diane was there as promised 7 am in the morning. She hugged me goodbye.

Dr Churukian showed up and got me all set up and feeling comfortable and secure. I had been explained that they were doing this rapid recovery, which I thought was great. That this was no more then a muscle injury and I was not sick. That I was to wear a nausea patch the night before and I would only being on antibiotics and motrin after surgery. I was to do arm exercises and move around as much as possible without over extending myself. After the surgery, I awoke and was given juice and asked to raise my arms. They let me go home after that. I had done it. Dr. Churukian and his staff got me there. If I hadn't found this practice I would still today be saying to everyone "I wish I had just done it, I want implants" Now I just go shopping and tell everyone I know how awesome my doctor is. My recovery was so quick I was up the whole day after surgery, had friends over, and by the 3rd day went shopping and out for lunch. By day 5 I felt so good I cut my vacation time short and went back to work. Thanks to your Webster for helping me locate a wonderful Plastic Surgeon.
