What Patients Say About . . .
Daniel J. Casper, M.D.

Posted on ImplantInfo's Discussion Board During Dr. Casper's Q&A 9-16-09:  Hi Dr. Casper! I just wanted to say thank you for changing my life. You did my 1st BA 9 years ago and since then my life has been great. I gained confidence and was able to do all that I've always wanted to do... and I also made a national magazine cover in 2007! Thanks for making me beautiful, you are amazing!!! :)

…I had my surgery last August with Dr. Casper. I love him!!!!! He is the coolest guy, really easy to talk with and all his staff are awesome... Kelly, Jessica, etc. I wanted a proportionate look to balance my booty, haha, and I got just what I wanted. Not too big, not too small. I had 375cc silicone mods put in through the crease. What I was surprised about is that really from the beginning they looked great shapewise and everything. And I started out with only nipples, no boobs at all!! …and my boobs are soft and nice.

Nicole, I found Dr. Casper on your site.  Dr. Casper was my 3rd consult. Once I met him I didn't look any further. Warm infectious personality, easy to talk to; and he took time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I found his office, his staff, and his "bed-side" manner to be impeccable. He has his own surgical facility staffed with attending physicians from the nearby hospital. I am 5 weeks out from my BA which went smooth as clockwork. My breasts are beautiful, even while they are still softening and settling into place. I went from a nearly 34A to a full C and still have to do a double take when I pass a mirror. There was minimal pain and my recovery has been very smooth. Thank you Dr. Casper for your beautiful work, and expert care!

Miss Peach

Hello Nicole,

I just wanted to send this note to THANK YOU for having your site on-line. I love your site and I think it's the best.

I have been obsessed about breasts for quite a while so I finally turned to the Internet for information and found your site. I found answers to my questions and learned a lot more about BA from your site. I found Dr. Casper in Pasadena from your site so I went to him for consultation and had a good feeling about him and his staff so he's the one who did my BA on July 14th. I was in pain for 2 1/2 weeks. (my previous surgeon said I was one of those few people who heals slowly) so I wasn't overly concerned about that. I log onto your site to the Q&A and Support Message Board almost daily to see what concerns other ladies had / are having during their recovery and reading them helps to ease my mind about what I am going thru and what to expect as I heal.

Thank you for being there.

Julie

Hi Nicole, I am so VERY thankful & grateful for the site you have put together.  Without your ImplantInfo site I never would have found my PS (Dr. Casper) who I absolutley love. I wouldn't have felt so confident about my decision and would have missed out on such a great support system. I am finding that I am on Implant Info even more (if that is even possible) as a POST-OP because all my questions get answered about what changes to expect next & so on...

Thank you again for the wonderful site you have and for all the time you devote to it. You will forever be a very special lady in my heart and I am forever grateful. Karyn

Praise for Dr. Daniel J. Casper in Pasadena, CA:

I had my BA on July 16th, and I couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Casper and I decided on 450 CCs, which brought me from a very small A to a nice full C, and they look so natural. I have a few more months before they "settle" because I did the under-muscle kind, and I know they'll look even better then. Dr. Casper is not only a fine surgeon (my mother is a registered nurse who used to work with him in the same hospital and he was recommended highly by her patients and other staff members), but a very nice man who makes each patient feel that she (or he) is his priority. His staff is very nice and professional, and they genuinely care that you have a wonderful experience. Oh yes -- I can't forget the anesthesiologist -- it was Dr. Smith when I was there, and he was great, too!

The post-op care has been just as good and thorough as everything else -- I've been back 3 times for my post-op check ups and suture removal, and I'm going again in 4 weeks for another check up and to have my "after" pictures taken. I'm actually looking forward to it!

My husband, who is not a "breast man" and not overjoyed at the thought of me doing this, was very nervous about me having surgery. But he came with me to the consultation (by the way, Dr. Casper will take as much time as you need to get all of your questions answered) and he agreed that this was the doctor for me. My husband said, upon seeing the result, "You can tell Dr. Casper that he did an outstanding job. I think I've just became a breastman!"

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Casper. Bethany

Dr. Casper is the greatest! He did my surgery on 4/2. I go back for my 1 week post-op on Tuesday. He is the only PS in the SGV area that has an in-office surgical suite that is fully accredited. He has a board-certified anesthesiologist monitoring you throughout the procedure, along with two other nurses. He was voted the best PS year after year by the Pasadena Weekly reader's poll. I had two other consults besides Dr. Casper but went with him because he made me feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole ordeal. Everyone in his office was great! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Good Luck. Sharon

Dear Nicole,

I went to Dr Casper in Pasadena and had my surgery last Monday, February the18th. It was perfect. He didn't cut the muscle nor the nerve . The whole surgery took 2 hours. And I was" fit" after I woke up. On Tuesday he took off the BRA and I was so impressed with the outstanding result. Thank you for all info on your site. I'll send you some photos as soon as I get a copy. He is THE SURGEON I would always recommend .And also his staff members are outstanding. They can answer also alot of questions and are very friendly.

A big Thanks again to Dr. Daniel Casper and his Staff in Pasadena.

Cora

I was 21 when I decided to have my BA done. I knew nothing about BA's or doctors, if anything! So, after talking to friends that have had one, I just flipped open the phone book and started seaching! I immediately saw that Dr. Daniel J. Casper was voted BEST PS in 1999 by the Pasadena Weekly Reader's Poll. So, I booked a consultation appointment w/him and a week later... there I was knowing for sure that I wanted Dr. Casper to do my BA! I thought that me being 21 and all would make him think that I wasn't for sure serious about a BA, but I was wrong... he totally treated me seriously! We talked about why I wanted it, when I wanted it, and how I wanted it done. After discussing everything and looking at his patients' pictures, I knew exactly what I wanted.

I saw how great his patients turned out and after looking at the various sizes, I decided that I wanted a small to medium C cup. I wanted to go with the crease incision, but he suggested the areolar incision because of my small size and the scarring factor.... so I listened to his suggestion and I'm glad I did! To determine the amount of cc's, he had me go home and measure mL of water in a baggie and had me put it in a sizing bra, then put on my favorite dress to determine how big I wanted to look. It totally worked! I went from a very small A.... had 325cc's saline unders, which brought me to a medium to an almost full C! I am so happy with the size.... exactly what I wanted!

I was so nervous about the surgery... I almost wanted to call it off! The morning of the procedure... I was waiting nervously.... and one of the two nurses totally made me feel better about it. She told me exactly how everything was gonna happen and it definitely calmed me down. As I waited... I got so sleepy! The staff kept on checking on me, making sure that everything was okay. My implants hadn't arrived yet for some reason, so there was a delay on my BA! I was thinking 'oh no... I'm not gonna get them today.' But, Dr. Casper assured me that it's gonna happen today and that the implants were being delivered by hand as we speak! After a 3 hour delay, they finally arrived. They took me to the surgical suite and layed me down, covered me in blankets, and inserted the IV. The anesthesiologist arrived and immediately went to work. He told me everything was gonna be fine and that I wasn't gonna feel a thing. He injected the sedation drug into my IV and told me to start counting..... all I remember was feeling really drunk, counted to 3 and passed out! I woke up a few hours later in a recovery area with the nurse by my side. I felt really exausted and tight, but luckily, no nausea at all! The nurse helped dress me and I was out of there on my way home!

I went back the next day and he said that everything was looking good. Things progressed and I am now a little more than 4 months post op and I couldn't be happier! My boobies look great... very natural, and I have cleavage! Ha ha ha... I never thought I'd look this good! =) Dr. Casper and his staff are wonderful and I would suggest him to anyone in this area! Oh yeah... he was voted BEST PS for 2000 too! Niecee

HE'S NOT ONLY THE BEST SURGEON ---- HE IS AN ARTIST. pure and simple -- the man has a gift. My husband - who is completely against Breast Augmentation, and did not want me to have the surgery -- is EXTREMELY pleased with the results! (and I went much larger than he was anticipating-- and with his reaction -- I'm glad I did.) I emailed a friend and told her -- "Yeah -- mr. what is wrong with women who DO THAT to themselves --- Mr. those are so fake and stupid --- Mr. I DON'T LIKE LARGE BREASTS -- ha -- likes -- no -- LOVES what Dr. Casper did here!!" I find it all rather humorous. *:)

This is my second surgery. Dr. Casper was also my first surgeon. 6 Years ago I went from a 36AAA to about a 36 FULL B/baby C.; under the muscle, 340cc's, and through the crease. It was painful, but the results were so beautiful. My entire attitude changed about myself - it was awesome. My breasts were the only perfect part of my body!!! Dr. Casper has a way of placing the implant so the breast appears SO NATURAL, but full and perky!

My husband is an artist ---with an extremely critical eye and he loves the way Dr. Casper enhances the appearance of the breast to complement and balance the rest of the woman's body. Did you know that Dr. Casper is a "Preferred Surgeon" by the Mcghan Medical Corporation (manufacturers of the implants)? He's THAT good.

And -- another selling point for me was the fact that his office is an eye blink away from the Hospital in case any unforeseen emergency were to occur. (Hey -- you know - I'm afraid of surgery -- and I want to anticipate any possible eventuality. I even wrote my will!! This was a very real question for me... if something serious happened - how long before help would arrive - or how quickly could I be transported --- I felt safer knowing the hospital was right outside his building!)

The anesthesiologist was AWESOME!! I told her I have a real problem with nausea following surgery. After my first ba I threw up for 2 days (REAL bad reaction). This time -- NO nausea!! none! The pain from the ba - I can deal with, but when it is topped off with throwing up -- hoy!! Not fun!!

If I had not lost so much weight - (about 40 pounds) I don't think I would've had the re-do. But, I'm 100 lbs (soaking wet); my breast tissue also went - resulting in ripples that began to show. Since we are in the process of moving back home (which involves moving out of state --) I thought - I better get these done because NO ONE IS TOUCHING ME BUT CASPER. I trust him - and I TRUST his work. So - I opted to have the re-do while we are still here.

My last appointment with Casper -- I showed two other women, one was a first timer -- the other was a redo like me. This time I went 500cc's, silicone, over the muscle, round textured implant. I went much larger because I have no breasts they shrank with the weight loss! So for me 500cc's makes me a full 34C/ or 32D cup. With the weight loss I shrank to small B. Dr. Casper is good at anticipating what size you will end up with. I am very - very happy!!

I have "sat" with other friends who went to other doctors in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills. I was not impressed with the STAFF(rude and snobby), the DOCTOR -- more interested in money.... NOR was I impressed with the results. They paid more money than I did -- AND their results are not as nice. If I'm going to put my body on the line--- I want to make sure I will get the desired results, not oh gee --- it's normal for one nipple to be staring at the sky while the other is staring at your navel.... no breast is perfect you know!! With Dr. Casper, I felt personally assured in his ability.... I ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE that with every patient he touches --- he does for her what he would do if he were operating on his own wife or sister. ... and that made me feel safe. It also was comforting because - it is true -- no breast is perfect, and some are higher or uneven -- but I KNEW that when I was done -- Dr. Casper would make sure that he did the most PERFECT job he could humanly do. I could live with that.

Kay

Hi,

I just wanted to say "Thank-You " so much for your wonderful site. I was searching the internet when I had finally decided I wanted implants and did not find another site that even came close to yours. EVERY question I had was answered~ I picked my surgeon from your list (Dr. Casper). He is the greatest most personable PS I have EVER met (I used to work in a hospital so I have met many). I am so happy with my choice. My BA is scheduled for 10/03 and I find it hard to think about anything else. Anyways, Thank you again & by the way~ I told Dr. Casper where I got his name & he said to say "HI." I will send my pictures when this is all said and done.
