About Dr. Buckspan

Education

• B.S.: University of Texas, Austin, TX
• M.D.: University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX
• General Surgery Residency: Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN
• Plastic Surgery Residency: University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY

Originally from Austin, Texas, for the past 20 years Dr. Randy Buckspan has maintained cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practices in Kentucky, Virginia and most recently St. Petersburg, Florida. Tampa Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Buckspan graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He also finished his Medical Doctrate at the The University of Texas in Galveston in 1980.

Dr. Buckspan attended Vanderbilt University where he completed his surgical residency and the University of Kentucky where he performed his Research Fellowship of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.

He is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Buckspan's training at the University of Kentucky provided a wealth of knowledge and experience that makes him uniquely qualified to address all of your surgical needs.

Dr. Buckspan enjoys running, cycling, deep sea fishing and spending time with his wife and three children.
