Credentials. In the field of plastic surgery professional credentials mean a lot. They exemplify a surgeon who has achieved the recognition of his peers and associations which are most qualified to assess his skills and abilities. These credentialing bodies include the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
Rigorous training. Our physicians are trained specialists with extensive experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery procedures. All have had additional training beyond their plastic surgery residencies.
Teaching and research. As leaders in the field, our surgeons now give back to the medical community in various ways. Our surgeons are faculty members at Michigan State University and teach future surgeons through a local medical education center.
Our physicians are also active in research to advance the field of plastic surgery. One of our members leads an annual plastic surgery symposium, which draws surgeons from around the world.
Volunteer services. Our physicians are also committed to donating their time and skills to those in our country and in foreign nations who don’t have access to quality plastic reconstructive surgery.
