Dr. Anous is also active in various medical committees, and has shared his knowledge and skills with other plastic surgeons, having given many lectures and taught courses throughout the United States and other countries. He has also written various scientific and medical papers, and has organized, directed, and participated in various surgical expeditions to Mexico, Bosnia, Brazil, Russia and Pakistan.
Maher M. Anous, M.D. is married and has two boys and two girls. When time permits, Dr. Anous writes poetry and plays the classical guitar. He is fluent in Arabic, French, English, and has a working knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian. His other interests are traveling, and sports.
