Procedures Performed
Abdominoplasty - Also known as a "tummy tuck," this is a major surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdominal and to tighten the muscles of the abdomen wall.
Blepharoplasty - Also known as eyelid surgery, this is a procedure to remove fat, usually along with excess skin and muscle, from the upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below the eyes.
Breast Augmentation - Also known as augmentation mammaplasty, this is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breast.
Breast Lift - Also known as mastopexy, this is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts. Mastopexy can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple.
Breast Reduction - Also known as reduction mammaplasty, this procedure removes fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. The goal is to give the woman smaller, better-shaped breasts in proportion with the rest of her body.
Face and Forehead Lift - Also known as Rhytidectomy, this procedure improves the most visible signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscles, and redraping the skin of the face and neck.
Rhinoplasty - Surgery to reshape the nose, is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of the nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between the nose and upper lip. It can also help with some breathing problems.
Laser Resurfacing - Also known as "laser peel," a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser is used to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, layer by layer. The procedure is most commonly used to minimize the appearance of fine lines, especially around the mouth and the eyes. However, it is also effective in treating facial scars or areas of uneven pigmentation.
Sclerotherapy - In this simple procedure, veins are injected with a sclerosing solution, which causes them to collapse and fade from view. The procedure may also remedy the bothersome symptoms associated with spider veins, including aching, burning, swelling and night cramps.
Ultrasonic Liposuction/Body Contouring - Lipoplasty, or liposuction, is a surgical technique used to contour the body by removing unwanted areas of fat. During the procedure, a hollow suction tube, or "cannula," is passed through small skin incisions and manipulated in such a way that the unwanted fat is broken up and transferred through the tube by the attached vacuum machine.
Ultrasound-Assisted Lipoplasty (UAL) - This is the latest technique in fat removal. By emulsifying the fat, more can be removed with less blood loss and less tissue damage than conventional tumescent liposuction.
