I was so very lucky and blessed when I seriously began considering breast implants. My older sister, by all of 10 months, had silicone implants 25 years ago and was having them replaced. My first concern was if she was pleased with them and any advise she had. I've found that women that have had breast implants like sharing childbirth experiences are very eager to share their experiences, especially if it was a good experience and are pleased with the results.

1. Find out if the surgeon is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and contact the Medical Board for the State to inquire if any claims, complaints and concerns were filed on the particular surgeon(s) you have scheduled appointments to interview. 2. Have all my questions, concerns, and comments written down (highest priority to least) on paper for each surgeon. Ask each question and write the surgeon's response in brief by the question. Add whatever comes to mind no matter how trivial it may seem as late as on your way to the office or up the elevator. 3. Investigate each type of implant and determine your desired result. Each one has its own desired look and goal and your surgeon should provide his preference and why.

I interviewed 2 plastic surgeons and relied heavily upon my uneasy feeling with the first surgeon . I had thoroughly checked his credentials and was very impressed with the person/man and his ease in relaying information. I had an inexplicable and unexplained uneasiness with his nurse and finally relayed it to the office manager after her several attempts to follow-up. My surgeon, Dr. Robert J. Schwartz and his nurse, Amanda are the most wonderful team I've ever encountered. The ease and comfort I felt immediately relaxed me so that I could feel assured of my choice. I stayed in almost constant contact with Amanda and Carolyn, office receptionist in the status of my credit application, appointment booking scheduling and throughout the hectic pre-surgery details. Each time I faced any challenge, I was immediately reassured and calmly guided.

The day of surgery was met with few challenges. I was apparently an ease to operate on according to the report provided to my boyfriend personally by Dr. Schwartz. This meant a lot to my boyfriend and I. Dr. Schwartz took the time to reassure him all had gone wonderfully smooth and had all praise for the ease in operating on me. The staff at the clinic was marvelous, informative and genuinely concerned for the person not just the patient throughout my entire stay. I had no bruising and the usual swelling considering the tissues and muscles involved. I elected for breast fold incision as it seemed less evasive and trauma to the tender nerves and muscles and am still very happy I elected for this incision site versus the pectoral or nipple.

Dr. Schwartz and I discussed my optimum goal while reviewing photos I'd provided him of what I'd desire to look like and why. In recalling the photo I chose and the explanations for my choice, I know my optimum goal was reached. I believe the breasts I have today are identical to the photo of my number one choice. I've received several accolades from male admirers whom also give their praise to my surgeon for his marvelous work. These are from men that never knew me prior as well as dear friends that had known my previous look. All sing praises to Dr. Schwartz!

Without a doubt, my breast implant surgery was a very rewarding experience. I met several people that I remain on friendly terms with and are forever my email companions and value greatly the skill and expertise Dr. Schwartz and his entire staff provide. I recommend him highly and without reservation of any kind and would very much welcome guiding anyone the privilege of experiencing breast implant surgery performed by Dr. Schwartz.

I think this site is extremely valuable and indeed helped me make my decision to have a lift and augmentation by Dr. Schwartz.

My story started about 12 years ago and ended happily last August with a lift and augmentation. I had never liked my breasts and looked as if I had several children and it wore on me perception wise and my confidence. I had been putting off my breasts until I had children. I decided that kids could be in the near future or never at all and did not want to wait any longer. I turned 32 this past December.

Having had researched several doctors and picked one two years ago for Liposuction; I was familiar with the process and knew all the detailed questions to ask. The reason I did not automatically return to the previous surgeon was that I was not dissatisfied with my liposuction results but wasn't sold on the doctor nor his practice staff and started the research process all over again. So I started a search for the right surgeon and after visiting several doctors, calling and checking backgrounds through medical associations and state bars I landed in Dr. Schwartz' office at the recommendation of a friend whose girlfriend had used Dr. Schwartz. The first visit he spent over an hour talking about the procedure and realistic expectations. Coming from a family background of medical personnel I was very impressed with his thoroughness and genuine interest in me as a person and potential patient. The surgery was everything I expected. The outcome better than I could have imagined and just for reference on size I left that up to Dr. Schwartz with the overall look I was hoping to achieve and given my body structure and size of my frame. I wanted to look great but keep my professional appearance. He did an awesome job. Girls and guys have had a hard time trying to figure if this is natural or augmentation and to the touch I have been recently told that you can't tell. Very impressive. Dr. Schwartz has achieved a natural look and feel and fulfilled my objectives.

Since my surgery last August, I have had several follow- up visits and the staff and Dr. Schwartz' attitude and genuine concern for me has not wavered but seems that they are even more interested in me and my well being. Everyone involved in my experience from Dr. Schwartz, his office staff and the staff at the surgery facility couldn't have been better trained, medically equipped nor have better personalities and be all around great people. I enjoyed the experience from start to finish. However I must address the issue of pain. The pain that accompanies this type of surgery was just as they prepared me for. They fully explained the discomfort and pain associated with this surgery and gave me realistic expectations and how to administer the pain medication prescribed. There really weren't any surprises and I want to commend the whole group of the really awesome job they did in realistically preparing me for everything I would encounter.

I had my BA on Sept. 25, 2001. That has got to have been on of my most rewarding decision of my life. I did a lot of research on your web sit and many other, but your was the most helpful. I had e-mailed you regarding a choice of plastic surgeon in the Dallas, TX area. You responded highly of Dr, Robert Schwartz - he is like god for me. Dr. Schwartz was very helpful to my self and my husband. He and his staff was very kind and very responsive to all of our questions. I have recommended aver 25 people to go to Dr. Schwartz. I know one of the ladies that I recommended has had her BA with him and she love him also. I will be sending pic of my new and old breast to you for your visitor page. I would find it so complimentary if Dr. Schwartz used my before and after pic on his also. Nicole I still visit the on line chat room so help other lady find out information. I have so many friend in there also. It is like have a family that we talk about BA and other things. LOL Dr. Schwartz and his staff was wonderful. I would do this all over again if I had to. I just wanted to let you know of my experience with my doctor, Dr. Robert Schwartz. I am 48 yrs. old and have two grown daughters and a granddaughter. I try to keep myself in pretty good physical condition for my age. But no matter how much I exercised my breasts still sagged. I think the "crowning blow" was when I knew we where going to Cozumel in a couple of months and I put a new bathing suit on and I looked horrible in it. I told myself then that I had to do something!! I had a couple of friends who had breast implants and they used Dr. Schwartz. They were very happy with their results. On the contrary they were both younger than me. So I made an appointment with Dr. Schwartz. I was very impressed with his caring attitude and his knowledge. I thought I was just going in for some breast implants, but he informed me that at my age I would need a mastopexy in order to bring my nipples up to make them look good. I was a little bit hesitant at the thought of relocating my nipples. But my husband and I decided that if we were going to do this, we wanted to do it right. So that's what we decided to do.

My appointment was on a Thursday, and before I had left his office, they had me scheduled for surgery the following week on Friday. I didn't really have time to think about it, which was probably a good thing! Dr. Schwartz came in prior to surgery and drew all over my chest measuring, I looked like a road map. My husband thought the surgery would be 3 to 3 1/2 hrs. max. Well, I was in surgery for 4 1/2 hrs. My husband was very worried something was wrong.

When Dr. Schwartz finally came out, my husband asked if something had gone wrong because it took so long. The Doctor calmly stated "no everything went fine, I just wanted to do a good job", and that he did.

I am so very very pleased with my results, and I would highly recommend Dr. Schwartz to anyone for this and any other surgery. It is amazing how having this done has changed my attitude and self esteem. I feel like I am 20 years younger and my breasts look better now than 20 years ago.

I had liposuction done about 8 yrs. ago and it was not a success. I wished I had never had it done. So you can imagine the reservations I had about having more cosmetic surgery done.

Dr. Schwarts is brilliant and takes pride in his work. He takes time with his patients to discuss anything, and never seems to be in a hurry. He has a wonderful staff of nurses who are very caring and totally believe in Dr. Schwartz and his work.

The hospital he used was Valleyview and I was very pleased with them. The nurses were like family, I had one nurse that was supposed to go off duty at a certain time and didn't because she chose to stay with me, even though her replacement was there.

My recovery was amazing and there was very little pain. I had surgery on Friday and was back to work on Tuesday.

My only regret is that I didn't do this 10 years ago, but then I probably would not have been able to use Dr. Scwartz and that would not have been good.

How can you convey professional adoration in a few sentences? My experience with Dr. Schwartz and his wonderful staff, especially Amanda, his office manager was flawless. After heavily weighing all the options of cosmetic surgery and extensively searching for the best surgeon, I wholeheartedly put my trust in Dr. Schwartz.
