Dr. Robert Schwartz is a board certified, highly-credentialed plastic surgeon. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Dr. Schwartz' record of academic achievement spans both coasts. He graduated summa cum laude from Yale University and was awarded a Regents Scholarship for academic excellence at UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Schwartz went on to find continued success as he completed residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. During this period, he devoted two years to full-time research in plastic surgery. This ultimately led to his selection for the plastic surgery fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas - widely regarded as one of the top programs in the world.
While his primary practice is based out of Dallas, Dr. Schwartz is also licensed and certified in California and has become known throughout the country for his signature personalized care and individual attention. Utilizing the most advanced techniques available, he has earned a reputation for both a comforting honesty and a meticulous, artistic skill that is reflected by the high rate of referrals he receives from his many satisfied patients.
Dr. Schwartz is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons.
As the author of over a dozen articles published in professional journals, Dr. Schwartz frequently speaks to professional groups on plastic surgery. In addition, he is a regular in the media nationally and in his hometown of Dallas, Texas.
Currently, Dr. Schwartz is the host of "Plastic Surgery Today," on the highly rated KLLI Live 105.3 in Dallas-Fort Worth. On television he is a regular on Good Day, KDFW Fox 4, WFAA Channel 8 News, NBC 5 News, and WB33 News@Nine, among others. He serves as a regular expert for shows across the nation including: America at Night, The Yolanda Gaskin's Show, No. 1 Russ Martin Show, The Marty Griffin Show, Pugs & Kelly, The Popoff Report, The Debbie Mandel Show, to name a few. Print publications such as People magazine and the New York Daily, among others, turn to him for his expert opinion.
As a guest expert, he discusses a variety of topics related to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
