Dear Dr. Pechter & Staff,

Well, my breast augmentation surgery has been a bit over a year now and I decided that I should share my experience with people considering the surgery themselves and trying to pick the right plastic surgeon. For me, it was not an easy decision as I researched and researched and considered and reconsidered my decision. Needless to say I was nervous about the surgery itself and what my results would be. A few friends of mine referred your office to me as they had very positive experiences.

From the first visit, I knew that I had the right surgeon. As I shared my concerns of breast cancer and my family history, you referred me to have an additional consultation with an oncologist to discuss my options and risk factors that may or may not be involved. This immediately showed me what a true professional you were. Had I not had that consultation, I still may not have piece of mind today that I had truly made the right decision.

Next, I was very worried I would not get the right size that I was looking for. Perhaps a bit out of the ordinary, I was concerned I would look “too big” and you were able to get in touch with what I was hoping for and suggested the perfect implant size for me. I could not be happier with the results. For the most part, it is almost impossible to tell that I have implants, I look very natural and have no scars.

Obviously the decision to have any type of elective surgery is a very personal decision that everyone has to make for themselves. However, from the initial consultation, to the pre operative appointments, to the follow-ups from the Dr. and staff and anesthesiologist, to the actual results of my implants, I truly have no complaints and do not think it could have gone better. Perhaps the best way to sum up the experience would be to grade Dr. Pechter and his staff with an A+++.

Hands down, I would refer Dr. Pechter and his staff to anyone considering Breast Augmentation.

Thank you for this opportunity to write a much deserved testimonial to Dr. Pechter and his incredible staff. I have waited many years for my lift and augmentation. Over the years I had meet a few plastic surgeons, none of them I really clicked with, all had opinions much different than mine and most were such sales people! scaring me right out of their office. Then I met Dr. P, A quiet and somewhat shy physician I felt as he listened very intently to me. And by my next visit we were scheduling my surgery. Feeling at ease now with Dr. P and his incredible staff I have had nothing but the finest of care and my breasts are amazing !!! The talent this man has is just unbelievable !!! I found my Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Edward A Pechter MD FACS on Implantinfo by Nicole. I had two other plastic surgeons that I researched and interviewed but ultimately choose to have Dr. Pechter perform my breast lift with augmentation. My decision was based on his specialties which included my surgery, education background, and multiple hospital affiliations including currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UCLA. I found the office staff including: receptionist, office manager, registered nurse, surgical technician and anesthetist fabulous. I met everyone in a relaxed manner and environment . I am now post op 17 days and am very happy with the results. I am a 36 year old woman with three children and breast fed all of them. I am so happy with the results of my breast augmentation. I am 32 years old. I have four children and nursed all of them. Needless to say, I needed this. I am 5' 10'' and 130lbs. I a 34AA. Dr Pechter put in 450cc of silicone to make me a beautiful 34 full C. I feel perfect. Not too big, not too small. Very proportional!!! I live in So. Cal. where you can get the best plastic surgeons. My original breast augmentation was with a different physician and I have to say I wasn’t completely satisfied. Exactly one month later I had my surgery and the results are truly amazing. You listened to my request and helped me select an appropriate size and I am incredibly satisfied with my choice. Originally, I found Dr. Pechter on Nicole's site 4 years ago. My first surgery was in April of that year and I had a great outcome. A year and a half later, after I had a suspicious mammogram (benign results) they suggested "watching" the microcalcifications, I opted for a prophylactic subcutaneous mastectomy as there is breast cancer history in my family and I felt this was my safest option rather than waiting for a problem to develop. Again I went to Dr. Pechter. I am so pleased with my results. He is kind, extremely professional and was so compassionate about my circumstances. His staff is wonderful. I can rest easy and I'm not only thankful for this site, but for Dr. Pechter, as well.   Jeanna

My surgeon was Dr. Pechter of Valencia, CA. I found him through your site. I really like Dr. Pechter and his staff, they are friendly and informative. If someone were to go into Dr. Pechter's office never having done any research they would come out of his office very informed. His nurses explain EVERYTHING in great detail, show the different implants and let you feel them. I would recommend Dr. Pechter to anyone in a heart beat.

Hello all! Havent been here in months, but wanted to check in and say 'hi'. My boobies turned 1 yr old on Aug. 1st!! Wow, I cant even remember what it was like not to have them. They're a part of me now. After 1 yr with these gorgeous things, I must say, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. NO regrets! Even though they're not perfect, I have some rippling and they're a little lop-sided (not my PS's fault, it's just me), They're awesome and I TOTALLY love them! This site helped me tons and I thank Nicole and all the other great people here. To all the pre-ops still in the deciding faze, just my own opinion, but I say Go For It!!!! Take care, Teri

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Edward Pechter, of Valencia, California, not far from Los Angeles. He performed my BA on May 25, 2000. I traveled nine hours by jet from Alaska to have him do my work, even though we certainly have competent surgeons in this area. I wanted the very best!

Dr. Pechter is a brilliant, talented surgeon, with more than 18 years experience in his craft, performing all manner of plastic and cosmetic surgery. He is assistant clinical professor at UCLA Medical Center, and is very innovative. For example, he developed an accurate breast/bra measurement system that is used by a significant number of plastic surgeons in the U.S. and abroad. The system is simple enough for anyone to use (www.rightbra.com).

Several things I appreciate about Dr. Pechter. He is very honest. He was not hesitant to tell me his opinions, based on his experience, about different issues I raised. Decisions were left up to me, but I was able to make those decisions with all the facts. He also told me that he would not perform new-fangled surgical techniques until they had been tested and proven safe and effective. There are too many women out there who are living with the poor results of fad techniques. I appreciate that very much! After all the money, time and healing that is spent, and all those hopes and dreams... it would be too much to end up with a disastrous result!

Dr. Pechter employs a wonderful staff. They are warm, understanding, and very competent. I felt confident they knew what they were doing, and enjoyed my experience with them very much. I was never made to feel like I was "just another patient." Each of my questions and concerns were addressed immediately and completely.

His anesthesiologist, Dennis, is outstanding! He carefully explained what he would do, and was very calm and gentle in his approach. I never once had a single worry or concern about going under general anesthesia under his care. Even with a 40 minute car ride home after the procedure, I did not suffer a single instant of nausea. I was very thankful for that!

I was not too concerned about gaining a specific bra size after surgery. I was more concerned that the result be beautiful, natural and proportional to my body. I explained this to Dr. Pechter, and showed him photographs of a woman who had a body similar to mine before surgery (chest and breast size and shape, etc.) and who had results like I wanted. He understood my wants, and when I awoke from surgery I had the perfect pair of twins! I had gone from a small, flat "C" to a beautiful, full set of "D's."

The recovery was very easy, with minimal pain. Frankly, I expected a lot more! However, I was able to go off the painkiller Dr. Pechter prescribed on day three, and able to use Tylenol after that. I never developed any complications, and was able to fly home a week after surgery... following a bit of shopping and beach visits, of course! :) My new additions have been beautiful from day one, and it all just gets better!

Hello my name is Petrice. I would like to recommend my plastic surgeon, Dr. Edward Pechter. He has been my friend and plastic surgeon for the last twelve years. Over the years I have recommended him to many women in the Los Angeles area and feel he is quite literally the best physician for women looking to augment their breast size. In fact, recently I found that my right breast implant had an intercapsulary rupture and needed to have it replaced, I chose to return to California from Memphis where I currently reside to have the procedure done...so strong is my trust in him! He keeps abreast of current information, is skillful and methodical, has always evenly answered any of my concerns and questions, is professional and warm in demeanor and really is a fine example of what a good plastic surgeon should be. I hope this forum will avail other women of this information so as to give them an option , I feel the best option, as to which physician they choose should they live in southern California.
