Our Office
A complimentary consultation is offered to all patients. This consultation is an extensive visit, which is designed to answer all of your questions and leave you with a good understanding of the procedure you are considering. Our consultations are designed as an educational tool for the patient.
Although your initial research can be done on the computer or telephone, nothing substitutes for the time spent talking with the doctor in person. During this visit, the doctor evaluates you medically to see if you are a good candidate for the procedure you desire, and assesses your expectations to see if they are realistic. All treatment options are explained. Patients are welcome to view before and after photographs of patients. A very sophisticated computer imaging system is available to help you see how you will look after cosmetic surgery.
During this visit, you are welcome to take a tour of our facility, which is an architectural masterpiece. Our state-of-the-art operating rooms are accredited by AAAHC, which holds one of the highest standards for patient safety of any accrediting, board in the country. This organization performs a comprehensive inspection of the entire facility, including equipment, credentials of physicians and employees, and patient records. Our certificate of accreditations is proudly displayed at our facility.
For patient safety and convenience, we offer overnight stay. Our staff of caring, licensed nurses will monitor your recovery, and give you TLC in the comfort of our facility. Our full time board certified anesthesiologist (M.D.) provides our patients with twilight sedation or general anesthesia. In fact, our equipment is just like that in a hospital operating room with back-up power in case of a power outage.
Dr. Messa is committed to excellence. To achieve this mission, he stays abreast of the latest technology and newest techniques in the field of plastic surgery, laser surgery, cosmetic surgery, dermatology, and skin care. He is involved in a demanding ongoing training program as new procedures are developed. He makes appearances to inform the public about advanced techniques and lectures to other cosmetic surgeons. With his expertise, Dr. Messa offers a unique comprehensive cosmetic consultation. Dr. Messa performs all phases of cosmetic and laser surgery.

Dr. Messa is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has devoted his career to helping others through cosmetic plastic surgery. He is a dedicated physician whose greatest satisfaction comes from seeing the effect his work has on helping patients look and feel better. His warm and compassionate mannerisms enable patients to feel more comfortable and secure as they experience the benefits of plastic surgery.
Dr. Messa completed his undergraduate education at LaSalle University magna cum laude, scholar athlete, and Rhodes Scholar nominee. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He subsequently completed general surgery training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center receiving honors as an outstanding surgical resident and teacher. He then completed training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Dr. Messa has achieved dual Board Certification by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of many regional and national medical societies. His academic accolades also include numerous publications with national and international presentations in many areas of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
