What Patients Are Saying About . . .
Robert G. Graper, M.D.

Dr. Graper and his staff were incredible! Not one complaint! His office staff is bubbly, friendly and exceedingly helpful. His bed-side manner was wonderful. He has a great sense of humor and really enjoys making you look the best you can look!

Thanks Dr. G!!

Dear Nicole,

How can I ever thank you enough! Like most women from this site, I have dreamed of having breasts almost my entire life. I am 40 years old and have three children which were all breast fed. At this point in life I decided it was time to fulfill my dream. With the help of this incredibly informative website I found my wonderful Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Robert Graper of Charlotte, NC.

I had my initial consultation with Dr. Graper on November 12, 2002. After meeting with him I knew instantly that he was the surgeon for me. He immediately made me feel comfortable and very confident in his abilities as a surgeon. "I highly recommend him to anyone in the Charlotte, NC area. You won't find a more caring competent surgeon!!!"

I went in for my surgery on December 27, 2002, what a Christmas present!! Dr. Graper and his staff made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I knew I was in good hands and awaited my surgery with great excitement and anticipation.

What a WONDERFUL surgeon!!! I can't speak highly enough about this man who has changed my life forever!! The surgery went off without a hitch. Just seven days post-op, I am living, "The DREAM"!!

My breasts are GORGEOUS. I feel great! I have had almost no bruising and very little discomfort. Dr. Graper performed a Periareolar Mastopexy, (mini-lift), which looks fabulous. My incisions are already disappearing. I know this is all due to Dr. Graper's incredible skills as a surgeon. I will never be able to thank him enough!!

Hi Nicole,

My name is Melinda and I just want to say Thank you so much for having a terrific and very informative website. For weeks I have been reading through the personal experiences and the message board and it has given me so much help, encouragement, guidance etc. I was really worried and nervous about getting implants but after all my reading and studying what the other girls wrote in it helped me to make my decision. I had my BA last week (on Friday) and am so happy that I went through with it.

Before my BA I had absolutely nothing on my chest, I barely filled an A-cup. It was embarassing, I always wore padded bra's or bra's with the inserts or water filled bra's and I was sick of it. I have wanted BA for years and I finally took the plunge. I went to a PS that was recommended on your website, it was Dr Graper in Charlotte, NC. He was wonderful, my scars are not that bad at all, I had no bruising and hardly any swelling at all (knock on wood!) I think they look wonderful already and it's only been 6 days since I had them done! I would strongly recommend him to anyone in North Carolina considering BA. Everyone at Graper Cosmetic Surgery was so nice to my Husband and I, and the nurses take really good care of you too.

Since I didn't have much tissue, I could only go as big as 290cc, so I received 290cc saline (silimed) under breast crease. It was pretty sore and painful for the first few day's but it is all DEFINITELY worth it! So Nicole, I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail to say "Thanks" for having such a wonderful website that helped change my life and many others I'm sure.

Hello! I just had breast augmentation last Friday, May10th, 2002, in fact one week ago from today! I was a34A before my surgery. And now am a Full C/Small D! I had a wonderful, caring and compassionate doctor named Robert Gordon Graper. I had wanted my breasts enlarged for over 20 years and at the age of 44 now had the money and chance to get them done.

So, I researched for the last 2 months every surgeon I could find in the Charlotte, NC vicinity. I guess the first thing that caught my attention about Dr. Graper was his photograph advertised of him on his "Welcome" page online. His eyes are those of a gentle, compassionate person, and when I met him for the first time his manners and aura added to my secure feelings about him. I am a woman who can pick up vibes, if you will, about people and animals. And Dr. Graper and his wonderful staff set me and my boyfriend at ease the very first day at my consultation appointment.

I had checked out every detail about Dr. Graper and his credentials, and before I even met him had decided to set up my surgery date and even paid for it! When my boyfriend and I met Dr. Graper we felt pleasantly relaxed in his presence. We had gotten lost on the way to the consultation appointment and if not for the cellular phone would never have gotten there to the office. One of the girls from the front office assured us we were okay on the time, even though we were 45 minutes late, and to be careful and don't rush and talked my boyfriend, since he was driving, all the way to the front door of the Graper Cosmetic Surgery office.

When we arrived, there were two cold glasses of coke waiting for us. After we sat and watched a short video we went into the room where Dr. Graper would examine me. I had brought a photo I finally chose and had printed out from hundreds of those I had looked at to show Dr. Graper what I would like to look like -- or at least close to it. I had written down many questions to ask. But Dr. Graper and his staff had answered all those I had written down before I even unfolded the paper to read them off.

After I had been measured and had two before photos taken, my boyfriend and I went to arrange the surgery preparations with Dr. Graper's surgery coordinator. She had me sign all kinds of forms and gave me the prescriptions to be filled since my surgery date was in 3 weeks. I was so excited! Then when Thursday, the day before my surgery date came I checked out my breasts in the mirror one last time as they used to be and let out a giggle in excitement knowing that they would be changed forever. My boyfriend came over that evening so that we could be up early and make it on time to my surgery appointment in the morning. At least this time we knew how to get to the office and just in case wanted to make sure we didn't get stuck in traffic or something making us late again.

We arrived at the office 30 minutes early, and were the only ones in the parking lot. About 7am we started seeing Dr. Graper's staff members arriving in their cars. One of the gals waved at us to come on in. In no time I was seated in a chair in my hospital gown and a thick pair of Graper's footies on my feet. Dr. Graper came in and had drawn his guidelines on my chest for my breast augmentation and under my armpits for the incisions, where I had chosen from where I wanted my implants inserted. I had been given what was called my goody shot and was starting to calm down and relax. My daughter had arrived shortly before that and she and my boyfriend were escorted to the waiting room while the anesthesiologist took me into the other room and prepared me for surgery.

All that I remember was a slight stick in my right hand for the medicine to help me sleep and don't remember anything until after I got home. My daughter had told me that when she and my boyfriend came into the recovery room and asked how I was doing, all I did was give the thumbs up sign like the Fonz on Happy Days. My daughter said I was out of it. But feeling good! :)My boyfriend and daughter got to take a peek at my results before I did, but they both claim they looked great even though they had been wrapped in a big ace bandage that could be removed after 48 hours! At first I was only getting 290cc, but found out later I was able to handle 360cc. I had been worried about not going big enough, and wanted to get it right the first time.

Dr. Graper had used sizers and was comfortable in using the best for my needs. He had gotten me as close to the photo I had brought in as he could. And let me tell you, he did a terrific job! On Sunday morning my boyfriend helped me take off the ace wrap and I showered. When I got out of the shower I stood in front of the mirror for the first time and gasped! Needless to say though I am so happy and pleased about my results, that I am recommending Dr. Robert G. Graper to anyone who wants the best! I went to my re-check appointment 4 days later, hugged Dr. Graper and thanked his staff, and expressed my gratitude and appreciation. I learned how to exercise my new babies so that they will become more natural looking and feel more natural. It hurts at first getting started, but after doing it on a regular basis, it gets easier and less painful. My boyfriend helps me when he can, and we both enjoy that, even though they're still tender.

For right now I exercise each side 3 times per day. I am going again in a week for my next visit. I will return to work tomorrow, one week after surgery. I am on light duty for 3 more weeks for now. Well I will keep you updated when I can but until then I'm enjoying the moments with my new family and I hope if you are considering having breast augmentation or any other kind of cosmetic/plastic surgery done, check out Dr. Graper :)

Dr. Graper did a BA for me in Dec 1999. I was extremely happy with him and the results of my surgery. I went from 36B to 36 D, with McG, S, R, Transax, 360 cc. I would recommend him to anyone in the Charlotte area for a BA. I am planning to have a brow-lift and eyelid surgery in the near future with him. I would be happy to e-mail anybody that might have any questions about my experience with Dr. Graper.
