I would like to thank you for your wonderful website. I found a lot of useful info about BA and my surgeon on your website. I had my BA done on April 13, 2005 by Doctor DeWire. Doctor DeWire is a very talented surgeon. I couldn't be more pleased with my results. I was amazed how easy the recovery was for me and how great my breasts look!:) I am so happy I chose Dr DeWire for my Breast Augmentation! I only pray he doesn't retire by the time I need my second set:)

Hi Nicole, I know you have plenty of feedback on Dr. DeWire, but I thought I'd add mine as well. It was thanks to him being mentioned by a couple women on your site that I found him.

I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. I felt he was completely honest with me about what I could expect for an outcome. I liked the fact that he wasn't set on using a certain type of implant from the start ( ie, HP vs round) - he didn't decide until he tried them on me during the surgery and saw what looked best. I felt that it was very important to him that my breasts look good; he doesn't like big at the expense of pretty.

It was a big leap of faith for me, booking the surgery and going out there having never even met him. And I am so glad that I did!

9/6/01 - Nicole, I went to Dr. Tom DeWire.

I'm so very glad I chose him. He did a wonderful job. I traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to Richmond, VA to have the surgery.

I found him on your website. I emailed numerous other people that had their surgeries with him back then. Based on their feedback, I chose him.

I haven't had any problems at all. I'm very happy with my implants.

Thanks for creating a great website Nicole. It really helped me when I was researching, and considering getting implants.

6/15/2001 - Nicole...

As you already know, I used Dr. DeWire and absolutely loved him...I am thrilled with my decision to travel the 1000 miles and pay the travel cost...I believe in the old saying "You get what you pay for".

I truly believe that if all women would spend more time doing their research and seek out the truly professional doctors we would see complications, difficult recoveries and bad press decline greatly.

Thanks so much for your site...without you I would not have found Dr. DeWire

Well, it has been 15 months since my surgery and I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, Dr. DeWire. You exceeded all my expectations and with a wonderful sense of humor and professionalism! I look beyond beautiful. I am thankful to you and your staff. And to all the women out there who are contemplating surgery...I would do it again without any reservations. (And I traveled from Los Angeles to Richmond for this!!) I'm sorry to drop in like this and leave you without the opportunity to send follow up questions (I don't particiapte in the forum that much anymore) but all the best to each and every one of you. I am 2wks post -op. Dr. DeWire is a true perfectionist. I thought I was the only one! I had no pain---tightness only. My under arm incisions are tiny--they never hurt at all. I am 5'9-135 lbs. and got 450cc under the muscle. I am now in proportion with the rest of me Dr. DeWire even sent flowers!! He is very knowledgeable, personable and an artist. I should have done this 20 years ago. I am 41. I cannot say enough about Dr. DeWire. Now I know why his web site is called Advanced Art--he is beyond the others I sought out!!!!

. . . Let me just close by saying that I've had a very easy recovery (just like DeWire's other patients). I only had to take percoset once and have been getting by just fine on Advil only. He really is a great surgeon who is very caring and considerate.

Dear Nicole,

I had breast augmentation performed by Dr. Dewire in 2001. He did a great job, and if I were to get a second breast aumentation, I would definitly go back to him. I traveled from NY to VA, and it was all worth it. I am constantly getting compliaments about the how natural they look.

My surgeon is Dr. Thomas DeWire in VA. I found him on your site, checked his site and looked at the results from other women that he augmented. I was very impressed with him and my results. I traveled to VA from IL just to have Dr. DeWire do my surgery. I will return to him in the future when need be. Thanks for your site! Teri

My PS is Thomas Dewire in Richmond, VA. I am not sure of the total amount removed since the nurse who was writing it down section by section as he called it off hadn't added it all up - I want to guess it was somewhere around 1500-2000 (it filled up two of the canisters for the vets out there - they may have a better guess). I will find out the exact amount on my follow up visit. I am 5'0 and weigh 120 - the PS did say as he was finishing that he got more than he expected to (I think he thought since I am short he wouldn't get that much???)?? Anyway, I chose him because he is the expert on cosmetic surgery in this geographical area. I work in the medical field and call on many Family practice and Internal Med physicians and know that he is very well thought of and in fact is the only one that some of them will refer to. Plus, he has his own attached spa and surgicenter in his office so you pay less than if you have to go to a hospital or outpatient facility. He is very realistic and lets you know up front what he can/can't do - he makes sure that your expectations are realistic. Hope that helps!!! :-)
