Mission Statement
In terms of cosmetic surgery, the creation of a beautifully improved appearance is an art. In addition to a surgeon's skill and experience, he must possess a creative ability to restore youth to an aging face and transform a sagging body into a curvaceous appearance. Dr. Neil deLeeuw is such a surgeon! In addition to his impressive credentials, his patients rave about his warm, caring manner and sensitivity to their needs.
At Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Delaware, my goal is to evaluate each individual's needs and desires, and to choose with them the best way to achieve the results they want. I always endeavor to fit the cosmetic procedure to the patient and do not apply a single method to everyone. I constantly study the latest techniques and incorporate them into my practice when these innovations are proven beneficial. I believe that a consultation should incorporate a process of education and mutual agreement in deciding what is best for each patient.

About Dr. deLeeuw

While maintaining a plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Wilmington, Dr. deLeeuw has worked with the indigent program in the clinic at the Medical Center of Delaware, operating on patients even though they were unable to pay.
Over the years, Dr. deLeeuw has actively participated in the teaching program for the surgical residents of the Medical Center of Delaware. He has also been called upon as a presenter for various medical groups, such as the nursing program of the University of Delaware, as well as other professional and civic groups in the area.
On the personal side, Dr. deLeeuw’s interests include gourmet food and a love for cooking. For several years he has been a volunteer chef for the March of Dimes Gourmet Gala event. He has a wife, Gail, and five children: Jason, Peter, Hillary, Katherine and Alison.
