Dear Nicole,This is my feedback about Dr. Chidyllo. Thank you so much for replying to my email.
I have a five year old son that I breast fed and I was a small droopy A cup. .......Now I am a 34 D. I have beautiful, perky new breasts thanks to one special and caring doctor !
Two years ago I seriously started searching for a good PS to enhance my chest. A lady that works with my boyfriend gave me a business card for her Doctor, Stephen Chidyllo. She had reconstruction done on one breast and Breast Augmentation on both. She was so pleased that she insisted I call her PS for a consultation. I continued to search the web and visit Nicole's site for a long time and still wanted and waited for the right time to go for it.
On March 14, 2001 I went to see Dr.Chidyllo in Eatontown New Jersey. He was quick to answer any questions I may have had and he sounded so confident in his work. After he examined my tiny breast, I could tell he really had a certain thing about him that I trusted and liked. and I had already seen his work (my friends BA), so I scheduled my BA right then and there.
On April 12, 2001 I had my surgery. Everything went smoothly and I have minimal scarring. Since then, I have seen Dr. C three times and I will see him for another check-up in September. We still email back and forth and I consider him to be one of mf friends. He really took good care of me and I completely trust him and I proudly pass his name on.
I believe he is one of the best Plastic surgeons out there and I appreciate his confidence and concern for the well being of his patients.

Kelly -- My name is Kelly. I live in NJ and had thought about BA for about 3 years.I did a lot of research before going for my consult. I looked on the internet and stumbled upon Nicole's site. Nicole's site actually gave me the courage to have the operation. It was the beginning of May 2000 that I started really considering the BA. I came across Dr. Chidyllo's site, and based on his credentials and location I decided to call hin for a consult.
I went to my consult the beginning of May and scheduled my surgery for the end of the month. When I arrived at Dr. CHidyllo's office I was very nervous. THe nurse was in the room and the time of the consultation. The nurse and Dr. Chidyllo made me feel very comfortable. I put a robe on and the Dr. examined my breasts, taking measurements of my ribcage. The Dr. then asked me what size I would like to be after the surgery. He explained the procedure, risks and costs.
Dr. Chidyllo was very professional, listened to my questions, he never made me feel rushed. When I left the consult I felt very positive about the visit and new Dr. Chidyllo was going to be the PS of my choice. I decided to go to another Dr. for a consult just to say that I had a second opinion.
I felt most secure with Dr. Chidyllo. My BA was performed on 5/23/2000. It only two weeks and I am recovering wonderfully. My surgery was performed in the hospital's surgery center. My BA was at 8 am. The surgery was over at 9 am. I had general anesthesia. I woke up around 11am. I rested for a couple of hours in the recovery room, where the nurses monitored my pulse and vital signs. I went home around 2pm that afternoon.
When I got home I slept the first night taking Percocet for only the first 2 days. After the first two days I was able to just take Tylenol. I haven't had any bruising, or redness or any complications that I have heard about. I have smooth round unders Mentor 275's filled to 300 and 315. Most of the swelling has gone down and the pain is minimal. The incisions look great, there will barely be a scar.
Dr. Chidyllo has been there for me when ever I needed to reach him. There were a few times where I needed to reach him just because I was nervous about the after feeling. He always got right back to me. Memorial Day weekend he was calling me to make sure I was feeling ok.

Evelyn -- I'm 41 y/o, mother of three, 5 ft, 105# and was 32A and hoping for a full B. I wasn't sure about size, but I wanted to get right. My husband was the one who searched to find a Plastic Surgeon because I was computer phobic. He chose Dr. Chidyllo after seeing his credentials and expertise in breast augmentation.
March 7,2000- I went to the hospital at 7:00 am to have surgery. They took me into a room to start my pre-op preparation. The nurse was very pleasant and very professional. Then Dr. Chidyllo drew a diagram in my chest and ask me again about the size I wanted, so I changed my mind and told him that I wanted a full C. After that I went to the OR and they made everything possible to make me feel comfortable and warm. The next thing I remembered was waking up in the recovery room with my husband by my side. I was feeling nauseous and my chest was very tight. Dr. Chidyllo went to the recovery room to check on me and to gave us the post-op care instructions and prescriptions for meds.
I went home from the hospital feeling so sick, related with the general anesthesia. I sat in my sofa sleeper with lots of pillows and cushions. I was taking turns between nausea and pain, not mentioning the enormous pressure in my chest. That evening Dr. Chidyllo called to check on me. My first week was very rough but thanks to my husband's care and the medications I get well. A week after surgery I had my first post-op visit to remove my bandages and my surgical bra. I saw my breasts for the very first time. They were swollen but not bruised.
Then I started using a sport bra for a couple of weeks. I started massaging my breasts after my second visit with Dr. Chidyllo. By June 12, 2000, I had my last visit with Dr. Chidyllo because I'm moving to California but we are going to keep in touch. He is a fabulous surgeon that supports Nicole's web site. I'm extremely satisfied with my BA.
It has a significant positive effect on my self-image. He is a very skilled PS with an outstanding reputation, plus he has a very well trained and professional staff that makes you feels comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Chidyllo and his Staff.

Hello! My name is Gina and I am a 28 year old woman who recently had a breast augmentation performed by Dr. Steven Chidyllo, of Eatontown, New Jersey. I don't know where to start in my recommendation, because they're are so many wonderful things I need to say. For starters, I read as much as I could about the surgery, then I started researching physicians. I came across Nicole's website and was referred to Dr. Chidyllo by one of his patients. I contacted him to set-up an appointment for a consultation. When I went to my consultation, he greeted both my boyfriend and I with a smile and handshake. We went in to the examination room, accompanied by the nurse. He was extremely professional in his demeanor and took the time and care to listen to all of my questions and concerns (no matter how trivial I thought they were!). He made my boyfriend and me very comfortable. While there, I spoke to another recent patient of his and of course, another glowing review! Aft er leaving the office, I knew I had found my physician. During the weeks prior to the surgery, Dr. Chidyllo and I kept in touch by either phone or emails if I had any concerns or questions. Once again, he was very patient in quelling my fears about the impending surgery and answered all my question in a timely fashion.
Finally, the date was here - surgery! I was so nervous needless to say! As I was being prepared for surgery, Dr. Chidyllo came in and greeted my boyfriend and me. He did his markings and we chatted then it was time for me to leave. The last thing I remember was seeing what the OR looked like.I noticed my pre-op photos on the wall along with photos of the breast size I desired and different size implants (Dr. Chidyllo comes prepared!).
When I awoke in the recovery room, I was in pain - to say the least - but I was given medication to alleviate my discomfort. I was amazed at what I saw! Was that really me? You bet....I couldn't wait to see them! After awhile, Dr. Chidyllo came in to see how I was doing - he talked to me about the surgery and what size he eventually went with. He would then check up on me a couple of times while recovering. Finally, it was time for me to leave. Dr. Chidyllo came in one last time to see how I was doing, gave me my post-op information and said call me if you have any questions and that he would see me in a couple of days. My boyfriend went to get my car and the recovery room nurse wheeled me out in a wheelchair. While we waited outside, she and I were talking about Dr. Chidyllo - I was telling her how pleased I was as his patient, and she told me that as a nurse, she too really liked his way with the patients. She saw how caring and concerned he is about them and being a nurse, alot of the doctors are not that way; she too had such great things to say about him.
Basically, I could go on about how pleased I was with Dr. Chidyllo, but I am not writing a book. All I want to say is that Dr. Chidyllo has gone above and beyond the call of duty - he has answered every question with patience, and quelled my fears. Though, most important - He has always been available to me when I needed to see him or speak with him - I never got advice from staff or a nurse's opinion (as some doctors will do). His staff is exemplary in the way they treat me when I go to my follow up appointments. I wish Dr. Chidyllo could be my primary care physician, because then I would see him more often! I highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking about having a cosmetic procedure done.
