Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Sterling, Virginia Breast Augmentation with Breast Implants Dr. David Berman is recognized as one of Northern Virginia and Washington DC’s most talented and experienced plastic surgeons. He has extensive experience (over 18 years in private practice) in all aspects of breast surgery, including breast augmentation, breast lift, breast implant revision surgery and breast reduction surgery. Dr. Berman performs breast augmentation with both saline and silicone implants. When necessary, he can advise you on the different types of lifts which may be required to give you the look you desire. A breast augmentation alone may not look ideal if the breasts have too much droopiness (ptosis). Women with this condition will need to have a lift with their breast augmentation. Some women will prefer the option of just having a lift but no implant. If a breast reduction is desired, these are often (but not always) covered by your insurance company. Dr. Berman has successfully treated a number of women with very asymmetrical breasts. Dr. Berman always performs breast enhancement surgery on an outpatient basis in a fully credited facility (either Fair Oaks Hospital or Countryside Ambulatory Surgery Center) under general anesthesia.
