"I had performed extensive research on augmentation prior to my surgery. My mother had the operation in 1983 and was very helpful as well. My plastic surgeon's name is Thomas Hubbard in Virginia Beach, VA. He has the most informative website that he actually wrote and composed. I found this to be rare. I liked the fact that he had so much experience in the field. He contributes time for Operation Smile and travels to 3rd world countries to work for free. He continues his education and has some sort of television spot which I've never seen but heard was informative. When I went to my consultation, I was instantly at home in his office. He and his staff, with their warmness, enveloped me and made me totally comfortable. I knew at this point I was right in making the decision and with whom I had chosen to perform the surgery. The day of operation and there after was more of the same. I can't boast enough on the staff. Even the anesthesiologist was incredible. I live in a resort town on the Outer Banks of NC and found out he and I have mutual friends. The overall experience was so positive!! "Just had to thank you again for this wonderful website. I would probably never have gone through with my BA without it and am so happy I finally did it. I will be a week post op tomorrow and am feeling great! I found my PS through this site: Dr Hubbard in VA Beach and have been thrilled with his office and with him. He has been very thorough. I was given a paper at my preop with his beeper # and his home phone # with instructions to always call and speak to him directly and never leave a message waiting to be returned for any concerns. I had my surgery on a Fri and he saw me the next morning in his office to check everything, saw me again at 4 days post op and I will be seeing him again in 5 more days.
