Dr. W. Grant Stevens of Marina del Ray, CA was contacted by this 33 year-old woman with dense, hard, painful capsular contracture of both
breasts. Patient previously had smooth-wall
silicone gel
breast implants placed above the muscle (subglandular).
Dr. Stevens replaced the
breast implants with textured gel implants under the muscle. The capsules were removed along with the original
breast implants. The woman is very happy with her
breasts and is doing well.
