First of all I'd like to thank you for a very informative website. It really helped me on my decision for a Breast Augmentation. My doctor is one of your sponsors. Dr. Hartog of Winter park Florida, His office is The Bougainvillea Clinique. His website is www.lookandfeelbetter.com . He's a wonderful surgeon and a Great Artist!!! Here's my story; I wanted breast implants since I was around 20 years old. Around that time they had the silicone scare so I waited.

Then ten years ago I got married and my husband felt I did not need implants. I guess you could say I gave it plenty of time in case it was just a phase and it wasn't. I always wore padded bras and bathing suits, but still felt uncomfortable. In Florida that is hot. I wore my shirts big. Finally, I convinced my husband that I really wanted to do this. After a long research period and my husband read up on it as well. I went through every plastic surgeon and information site I could find. I e-mailed over 20 all responded except for three. The good responses answered all my questions; some just wanted me to come in and ask. I chose Dr. Hartog for the speedy response. He answered all my questions and I had quit a few. He commented on how knowledgeable I was on the procedure. I told him with websites such as Nicole's its hard not to be.

I was concerned about how busy he was. Yes, you want a doctor that has a good reputation and is busy, but I was worried that I wouldn't get the personal care that I needed. Dr. Hartog gives you that and more. For example He called me from his home the first couple of nights to make sure I was doing okay. This was on his off time. That made me feel good. The staff was absolutely wonderful Courtenay, Lisa, Ms. Hartog and Robert Patt to name a few. Robert was my anesthesiologist. He took the time the day of my surgery to go over all my history and let me know what to expect all the way through the procedure. I was a 36 B before surgery and I'm now a 38 D. (Saline Implants). No more padded anything for me. I feel so much better. My self confidence is at a record high. My husband says if he'd known it would have made that much of a difference in me as a person that he would have agreed sooner. He was very supportive throughout the whole procedure and took care of me when it was over. I always had ice packs to help keep the swelling down and he had me on a schedule with my pain medication. "Hi I found Dr. Hartog on ImplantInfo when I was doing my research on implants. I read the posts about him and saw some before and afters of his work so I made an appointment for a consult. His office is very nice and it has that warm comforting feel to it. When I met with him I asked a ton of questions and he was really great about answering all of them. I told him what size I wanted and he told me what would be best for my body which I thought was great since he was concerned about my health and my look. I tried on the sizers and did my preop and the nurse there was great I e-mailed her a million times before my surgery and she always responded quickly which I liked. The day of surgery he made me feel at ease and went over the size again and took me back for the operation. His place is like a miniature hospital minus the sick people. I was impressed it was very nice.

I am extremely happy with my results; I was off pain meds by day 3. I had an awesome recovery! Dr. Hartog is great, when I went in for my follow ups he was really nice and answered my questions and put all my concerns at ease. I have recommended him to all that I know.
