"I have had one of the smoothest recoveries I have heard of. My doctor's name is Janet Turkle, and she is a true artist. I had never had surgery prior to my breast augmentation. I was nervous and over-researched going into my consultation. Dr. Turkle put me at ease and answered all (three typed pages) of my questions. She was kind and supportive. Dr. Turkle and her staff made my caregiver (my boyfriend) feel extremely welcome, and even educated him about post-op care during the short time he was not with me during my consult and surgery.

I decided on the 410FF cohesive gel implants after my measurements and after showing Dr. Turkle some pictures of my desired outcomes. The day of my surgery, I arrived at 5:00am to a welcoming staff and waiting-room. I was greeted individually by my nurse, doctor of anesthesiology, and Dr. Turkle before receiving my antibiotics and first dose of pain medication. The only adverse effect I experienced after my surgery was slight nausea, and I felt better five minutes later, after being given an anti-nausea tablet.

I was able to feed myself, go to dinner, shop, and lift my arms over my head the day of my surgery. My entire experience, from consult to recovery, has been educated, dignified, smooth, and professional. Today, I'm seven days post-op and feeling fabulous. My sub-muscular cohesives have already dropped really well (Dr. Turkle met with me personally at my one-week post-op, and she has enrolled over seven hundred women in the cohesive study; that made me feel really good). I've had hardly any pain and have been taking only the occasional tylenol since my third day post-op. No bruising, no compression garments, no massage, no drains. I wear a comfortable cotton sports bra given to me on the day of my surgery. Love! I would absolutely love to speak about my experience with Dr. Turkle if anyone has additional questions."
