3.5 Years Post-op

3.5 Years Post-op

3.5 Years Post-op

Age:   26 at the time of surgery (no children)
Weight: 120 lbs
Height: 5'7"
Before: 34AA-A
After:  32/34C
Implants: 330cc round textured McGhan Silicone
Approach: under the muscle by transaxillary incision

I am a little over a year post op now and I still change from day to day.  The last 6-7 months have been a blast! My new boobs were quite firm at first, almost 6 months (!!) but now they're bouncy and nice. I love them and I don't regret getting them at all!

I have some rippling, but not bad. It's because I have textured and not smooth, and the reason I chose textured is that you don't have to massage them as you have to do with smooth ones. I was afraid I would not take care of them (and me) so I went with the textured ones.

I took 12 days off from work and if you're getting unders through the armpit I recommend a few days more than that. There's a lot of pulling involved to get silicone implants in place and I was really sore in my arms for about 2-3 weeks (like after a really hard work-out.)

Update 3.5 Years

I am now 3,5 years post Boobs have shrunk some, I now wear a full B to baby C I breastfed 1 child for 8 months - NO problems at all. If I had done tha BA today, I'd go for smooth implants, and maybe a little bit bigger than the 330's I have.

I might have a re-do after baby #2 in a few more years, but it's nothing I'm thinking that much of.
