Visitors' Stories -- Dawn (page 1 of 3) My story actually started 4 years ago. I was then 24 years old. I have only one child. I breastfed him for 3 months. I am 5'6" and weighed 107 at the time of my first surgery. I was a B cup before I had my son. After having him and breastfeeding, I shrunk to not even an A cup. I was not happy with that. I had talked about having the surgery done for a few years before I actually had it done. I made an appointment for a consultation with a doctor in a nearby town. There were no doctors performing this surgery in my city. I had my consultation and made my appointment for the surgery that day. My surgery date was a month away. I played with plastic bags filled with water at home. I thought that 300cc would be a considerable increase. So, in June of 98 I had my first surgery. I had 300cc on both sides placed under the muscle in the anatomical shape. The incision was inframammary. I ended up with a B cup. I was in terrible shape after the surgery. They had overdosed me. The first thing I remember was moving from the wheelchair to the car. I couldn't stay awake. When we got to the hotel, I went straight to bed. Within a couple of hours I was throwing up and also started my period. I was in the bathroom crying because I felt so bad. I told my husband he might have to put my suppository and tampon in because I could barely move my arms. But I managed; I was too embarrassed to make him do it for me. I went back to bed. My husband said I moaned in my sleep all night. The weight on my chest seemed very heavy. I had a checkup the next day before we drove home. The doctor said all looked well and to come back in a week to have the stitches removed. I slept the whole way home, an hour and a half drive. When we got home, I set up a bed on the couch. That is where I slept for the first week. I wasn't in lots of pain. By my 4th day I felt better and started to do some things around the house. Big mistake. I paid for it later that night. I was very sore and tired. When I went in the following week to have my stitches removed, I knew I wanted to be bigger. The doctor convinced me that they were perfect and a good size for my body. So I lived with it. (more . . .) |
