Visitors' Stories -- Jean (page 1 of 2) Hi, I am 20 years old and I am currently attending an out of state college. I am 5'10 with a slim build. I decided that I wanted to get my breasts done. I had always been very insecure with the way my breasts looked. If I ever had to expose them, I would cross my arms across my chest as if it was natural to do this. I started thinking about surgery when I was 18 years old. I wanted to wait to see if my breasts would change, but they never did. I found Nicole's site a year before my surgery and it has been such a big help! I had an A cup but I wore so many pads that everyone thought I had a C cup. I showed my breasts to my mom finally 6 months before I had gotten them done and she felt I should get them done as well. I finally made a consultation with a doctor that my cousin and aunt had used. He is only 20 minutes away from me, so, that is a good thing. When I arrived at the facility, it was extremely nice and top notch. I felt so welcomed. They handed me a folder with information inside about finances and the doctor's qualifications. I read all about Dr. Bass and I was so intrigued by his awards. I already felt positive about him. I finally got to meet him and he was really nice and informative. He told me that I did have a deformity. My breasts were tuberous and the nickname for it is "snoopy". This was really funny at the time to hear. He told me that the best way to correct this problem would be to go through the areola (periareolar) and to use round, saline implants. He also suggested that he wanted to place them under the muscle. At first, I was really interested in the TUBA insertion. But, after speaking with him, I also felt that going through the areola would give me the best results. We both agreed that a C cup would be best. After 2 months, I decided to use Dr. Bass. I never went to see anyone else because I was away in school. I was extremely excited that my dream was finally going to come true. I would finally have normal, beautiful breasts. I counted away the days. I knew that there would be a lot of pain associated with this surgery and I was scared, but I wanted it so bad that I didn't care. |
