Plastic Surgeon: Dr. Dowden, Mayfield Hts., Ohio

I would recommend my plastic surgeon to others.

As a girl growing up, I always wandered when my body would catch up with the rest of the crowd. And, as I continued to mature I realized it never would. I knew if I ever got the chance that I would like to enhance what God did not give me.

I researched on line and discovered Dr. Dowden was the perfect doctor for me. He had the right credentials and experience. I contacted Dr. Dowden and his staff and he earned my trust through extensive dialogue about the procedure and the implications.

The day of the surgery went exactly as he explained. I was anxious the morning of wandering what my new body would look like and hoping he could provide what I asked for (knowing there is no such thing as perfection).

As I was wheeled into surgery I noticed the bright lights and the sterile atmosphere of the surgical room. The doc was in his scrubs and I knew this was it...

I woke up with a tight feeling in my chest that I had never felt before and a discomfort that in time would pass. I never felt pain but I was ready to go home and recuperate and I did…

I did leave the hospital and went home for a long nap. The next morning I arrived at Dr. Dowden's office with a smile on my face and a positive feeling that I had made the right decision.

Dr. Dowden and his staff took me back and we looked at the new chest that I now had and that was it for me. The smile continues to stay on my face and I am proud of my new physic. I went for a natural size for my body and a shape that I desired and that is what I was given. I have never been disappointed.

I did my chest compressions and took my vitamins and will continue to do so. My breasts did have an unusual feeling to sensation in the beginning but now almost a year later they feel as natural as could be.

My family has been terrific and for that I am fortunate. My friends have been supportive and for that I am fortunate. My experience has been terrific and that is priceless....

Thank you Dr. Dowden for explaining in detail everything that would take place and for the caring attention you give to your patients. You truly take the time to make sure patients understand the lifetime commitment they are undertaking and I have nothing but appreciation for you and your staff.
