Mentor Standard Advantage Warranty
Mentor™ Standard Advantage Breast Implant Warranty
Mentor™'s Standard Advantage warranty applies to Mentor™'s saline breast implants. The warranty takes effect at the time of implantation. The warranty includes:
- Lifetime product replacement.
- 10 years and up to $1200 Financial Assistance for operating room, anesthesia and surgical charges.
- Free contralateral (opposite side) implant replacement upon surgeon request.
- Non-cancelable terms.
Events covered include:
- Deflation due to crease fold failure, patient trauma, or unknown cause
- Loss of valve integrity
- Other loss-of-shell-integrity events may be covered as well. This will be determined by a physician retained by Mentor™.
Events not covered include:
- Implants removed due to capsule contracture, rippling, or other complications, other than deflation/rupture.
- Implants that are removed due to a size change (i.e., to go larger or smaller in size).
- Loss of implant shell integrity resulting from re-operative procedures, open capsulotomy, or closed compression capsulotomy procedures.
