Traditional surgical planning relies on a combination of implant diameter and volume. If more projection is needed, a larger implant with a wider diameter must be selected. However, this larger diameter might be incompatible with the patient's desire and body type. With the introduction of INAMED Aesthetics Style 68 Saline Matrix, implant diameter continues to be a focal point in the planning phase, but the ability to select three unique projections with the same base diameter allows the surgeon to customize the outcome to meet the patient's expectations and not worry about sacrificing implant width to achieve the desired projection.

Silicone Matrix:

INAMED Aesthetics' Silicone-Filled breast implants are constructed from a patented low diffusion silicone elastomer shell filled with a soft, cohesive silicone that is available in standard and high projections. These implants are available in smooth and textured (BIOCELLŪ) style designs. The low diffusion shell features a barrier coat between two layers of silicone elastomer to minimize silicone diffusion. Silicone-Filled breast implants are only available on a limited basis in the United States, under a carefully controlled clinical study, for women seeking breast reconstruction.
