SUBJECT 369 - Repair of "bottoming out"

Wt.: 125lbPatient who underwent subglandular silicone augmentation mammaplasty infra-mammary crease approach in 1992 (operated upon elsewhere in So. California). She presented with "bottoming out" malposition of both implants as well as Baker II capsular contractures. She wished implants to be exchanged for saline, higher , and softer.
Post -operative photographs reveal soft, well positioned implants with correction of the displaced implants at 2 months post-op. Double-lumen implants were removed and replaced with textured PIP pre-filled round saline implants- 395cc's bilaterally. The infra-mammary crease was elevated and the implants remained in a subglandular position.
